Cooper Lake Fishing Report

Went out on 20th May, still overcast but way calmer! Hooked into a nice 6 lb bass near the reeds! Used a texas rigged worm and it did wonders. Caught a few smaller ones too. Finally felt like the fish were cooperating! Can't wait to go again!

Hit cooper lake on the 18th May, heard it might rain but didn’t wanna miss out. Only got one small bass, but lost a bigger one near the boat. So frustrating!! Used a topwater lure, that was fun to watch. Might have to try a different spot next time.

17th May, man it poured! But figured I'd take my chances. Water was murky but landed a solid 3 lb trout right off the bat. Used a nightcrawler on a slip sinker rig. After that, everything went dead, but that one fish made the cold rain worth it.

May 10th was a mixed bag. Rain would come and go, but we still went out. Caught a couple pike, one was about 5 lbs—fought like a champ! Used my favorite spinner and got lucky! Was tough with wind picking up later tho, but still worth it! Already planning the next trip.

Fished on May 1st. Cloudy skies made for a good day. I set out with my buddy josh at sunrise, around 6 am. We tried trolling a few deep spots and caught around 8 perch! Best one was a 2 lbs beauty! Used some crankbaits and they were chomping! Great day overall.
