Hello fishing friends,

We now have the Apollo in beautiful Santa Barbara for the rest of the spring. We are running two Berkley sponsored limited load overnight trips to the Channel Islands. The first trip will depart on Thursday night April 19th at 9 pm to fish on Friday April 20th. The second trip will depart at 9 pm on Thursday night May 17th to fish Friday May 18th. These trips will target Quality Rockfish, ling cod with the chance for some early season halibut or sea bass. Please come join us on the Apollo in Santa Barbara for some fun spring time fishing. Berkley will sponsor this trip and will be giving away swag on board. These ntrips are limited to 20 people and the cost is $185 per person. Please call Sea Landing at (805) 963-3564.

No yellowtail for us today, even though we did stop on a few schools. Canceled for tomorrow due to lack of reservations.

Hello all of you readers. We departed on our Let's Talk Hook Up 4 day trip this afternoon and said some prayers as we headed to the bait receivers. So far as I write this I am still pleasantly pleased by the bait we got. It's still not a dynamite load of bait but compared to last trip we're holding our heads high. Only time will tell. Relaxing afternoon aboard the Polaris Supreme. The weather couldn't be better and it appears we should be blessed with another wonderful flat trip in the open seas.

It's 7 o'clock p.m. and I'm still not 100 percent sure of where we'll be tomorrow. I'm leaning towards starting off where we left off last trip. You'll find out tomorrow. Stay tuned.

We had a great afternoon for our travel day. We got to the grounds around 4:30 in the afternoon and had over a hundred by dark. An absolute fun fun day for all. We'd see the fish , stop the boat, and catch them. Not like the albacore have been acting this year so far. See them, catch them. I like it when that happens. We stayed the night hoping for the same sign again today.

Never found the lucky kelp today. Still scratched up a mixed bag in beautiful weather. 18 dorado 27 yellowtail 29 skipjack.

Viva variety! We started the day off with some excellent Yellowtail fishing. Mixed grade fish from 8 lbs to 35 lbs. The majority was released but we were able to pull some nice grade fish aboard. Weather is great and conditions are good down here. Will report again tomorrow, Team Supreme

Hello Everyone, Today was a great day on the tuna grounds. We had an un-real sun downer bite on Bluefin Tuna in the 40 lb range. Complete chaos, an absolute ripper on fly lined sardine, until the sun went down. Once darkness settled in, it turned into a Flat fall ripper. Landing the Tuna on the jigs was was much nicer on the heavy gear. In addition to the Bluefin we landed 2 50 lb Yellowfin Tuna. Great grade fish. Excellent day on an excellent charter. Capt Ryan Bostain from the San Diego out of Seaforth Landing called in a report after going offshore today, we had a nice mixed bag of fish today. We had 50 anglers on board and ended the day with 60 Yellowtail, 38 Yellowfin Tuna and 5 Bluefin Tuna. The Yellowtail were in the 7-12 pound range and the Yellowfin were 15 - 35 pounders. We got a school of larger Bluefin Tuna and only managed to put on the boat around 50 pounds. We are going to continue offshore, if you want to come out bring an assortment of live bait set ups. You\'ll need size 2 - 2/0 hooks and maybe some smaller sliding sinkers. See you on the water.
