another rainy day but we hit it hard. caught a few small bass, and a couple of perch too. tried topwater lures but switched to crankbaits when it got cloudy. good times, but also frustrating with the weather... still had fun!
overcast skies were killer for fishing today. my buddy and i pulled in 10 catfish, all around 3-4 lbs. used stink bait, which was messy but worth it. felt like we were in a fishing tournament with how many hits we had.
went back to clear lake today, patchy rain kept me on my toes. caught 5 nice bass, biggest was a solid 7 lbs! used a texas rigged worm in the weeds. weather got warm but the fish were biting, great combo!
finally got to hit the lake! it was overcast but comfortable. i floated around with some buddies and hooked into a few sunfish. nothing huge but loads of fun. using light tackle made it even better. so chill!
not a bad day out on the lake, bit of rain here and there. caught 3 crappies under the overhangs using jigs. water temp was nice, fish were active! coulda caught more if the rain didn't scare em off. overall, stoked about the catch.
