back at claytor on the 24th, caught a few small bass early in the morning. overcast again but the water was calm. used a crankbait and they bit pretty good. nice day out!
hit the lake on the 16th. the fish were a bit sluggish but managed to reel in a solid 5lb catfish! used chicken liver for bait, worked like a charm. felt good to hook that one!
fishing again on the 15th, caught a few perch and one nice bass! weather was weird, some sun then rain. used a blue and silver spinner and it did the trick! love this lake!
got soaked on the 13th, but still managed to get a nice crappie! rain was heavy, but had my rain gear on. crappie were hitting minnows near the trees. soaked but worth it!
back to claytor lake on the 10th, only caught a few smaller fish, weather was pretty dreary. fished with jigs but they just weren't biting much. still had fun tho, just being out there!
