We had decent fishing again today at the Halibut grounds. We had a total of 11 nice flatties today. Then it shut off. It was a bit windy today. We will be back out soon. Listen to the audio from JJ for upcoming opportunities to fish on the Apollo. Thanks to JJ for being a great sponsor!

One good stop made our trip. 58 yellowfin tuna 63 dorado as many skipjack as you wanted.

Capt Mike Pritchard from the Tribute called in a very enjoyable fishing report, we ended with 99 Yellowfin Tuna, 9 Dorado and about 40 Skipjack Tuna. We got on a kelp late and had to leave them biting, the weather was has been great and looks like it will that way for the rest og the week. We do have some spots on upcoming trips, our Wednesday trip is a go for sure and we have some room on most other dates. Hello Everyone, Today we got an incredible head start to our Black Friday 7 day trip. We loaded a great load of bait and got on the road early. We are headed to the ridge or rocks with hopes of Wahoo, Tuna, Dorado, Grouper, and Yellowtail. Tomorrow will be a rigging day. We will decide whereto start fishing tomorrow. Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-04-2016 Hello Supreme fans, We started the morning out offshore looking for a tuna school to bite to no avail. After a couple hours of that we switched gears and headed in to the beach and tried our hand at yellowtail. Our efforts were rewarded with steady action on great grade yellowtail. We also had an expected species mixed in with the yellowtail, Yellowfin tuna! As the yellowtail action continued through out the day we were able to catch steady tuna as well. The yellows were biting the typical yellowtail rigs, however they did seem more concentrated on the surface. So the flyline fisherman had the hot hand. We are proceeding north at the moment, hoping to pick up speed and maybe have a little time to fish tomorrow. What a much needed great day of fishing! The Supreme Team

Good eveing friends. Checking in from the bridge in between dinner calls. We started the day shut down on on a few fish marks to see if we could get something to build up and hooked a couple of small grade yellowfin, but it just wasn't the right kind so it was time to pack up and go looking. Shortly after a couple released tuna, we got mobile we swung by a few tuna pens and they didn't really produce. A lot of small yellowfin and aquarium size yellowtail with a couple nicer 25 lb tuna to put a tag on. Too bad a couple hundred more of his buddies weren't tagging a long with him. Tommy got up with me this morning at about 0245 and got busy downloading some awesome water charts that way we could map out our playground for the day. Not much luck at the pens, so off to kelping we went before we started working some warm water edges. We just couldn't seem to find the big boomer that was loaded or catch that school that was out there roaming around. The ocean is a pretty big place when you're out there by yourself. You have your great days along with the slow ones and today it was just one of the slow ones. The guys really hung in there and fished hard though. Charter Master Joe Gigliotti got busy like the Italian he is and cranked out about a dozen handmade pizzas for lunch that were second to none! Every year that's one thing we really look forward to on his trip is the pizza's. He brings all of the ingredients with him and certainly rivals any pizza place that I've been to!

I do have to add, for all of you Mark "The Crow" Clark fans, we actually got him to not say one word all the way through dinner last night. He actually had to use a note pad to communicate! Quite the sight I must say, but today it was back to business as usual...Caw Caw Caw. Keeping the passengers laughing and giving his illegitiment father Kub and Uncle Joe Beck and hard time as always. So tommorrow we're gonna wrap up the trip in the bluefin grounds and I have a feeling it's gonna be game on. Time to get nasty and end with a bang. Drew has to sport the lucky 7-11 hat, Gunny will be in all blue as he always is when we get 'em and Mark, he'll still be talking. Time to shut out the lights and enjoy first watch. Good Evening, Our last day of fishing started off early and i mean 0230 early! with the kites out and everyone soaking baits and dropping jigs down hoping for that early morning tuna bite , a few fish were hooked but won their freedom, Once the sun came up we went into search mode again, We found the wahoo and tuna under bird schools very willing to take our baits with the wahoo began charging the boat in packs, with only a few hours to fish before heading for the cape, We put our fair share of them on the boat before calling it a trip. We are now headed for Cabo! Gunny and Supreme Team.

22 yellowtail, 65 calico bass, 1 bonito and 3 barracuda. Tony Brough and his charter group had good action fly lining sardines.
