amazing weather today! bright and sunny! went to carbon river and landed my biggest catch yet, an 8lb salmon! used a red and white buzz bait and it was such a thrill. i swear the sun makes everything better!
finally sunny out at carbon river! had a blast and caught 5 fish total, a mix of trout and salmon. temps were nice, i was using a light rod with a float. gotta love when the sun is shining and the fish are biting!

wow what a day, rain was coming down pretty hard but i went anyway. only caught one salmon but it was a big one! around 7lbs and fought like crazy. sick to see the river full of life. used my new baitcaster and was stoked!
cloudy again on the river, but the fish were definitely biting! I landed 4 decent rainbows, all around 3lbs. using a black and blue jig worked like a charm. felt like I could have stayed out there all day!
