hit the reservoir again on the 28th, more mist! but hey, the fish were biting! used some shiners and got a few small stripers, nothing huge but definitely worth the trip! love how peaceful it is in the misty mornin, makes for a nice adventure
had a misty day at Calero on the 26th, super foggy! thought it would be bad but actually caught a lot! used my trusty spinner and got a couple of nice bass, around 4lbs each! didn't even mind the weather, just nice to be out there casting away
went fishin' on the 18th and boy was it cloudy. got a good amount of bites on my nightcrawler but only landed 2 decent sized crappie. wind was pretty strong but it made for some nice drifts. sometimes you gotta take what you can get!
cloudy day on the 15th, hit the res with my dad. we got skunked for a while then finally landed a couple of rainbows! used some spoons and finally they started biting. felt great to spend that time with him and see him smile when he caught his first fish of the day
went out on the 14th, weather was nice, just overcast. had my buddy with me, we were using spinners and worms. caught a few small bass, nothing over 2lbs. still nice to be by the water, tho! wish we could've landed something bigger, but hey, that’s fishing right?
