ugh, today was rough. moderate rain and wind made it tough to stay steady on the boat. caught just a couple catfish, all small. still had a good time with mates, sometimes its about the company, not the catch. next time will be better!
sunny again today, got lucky with the weather. fishing was on fire! caught 5 nice bass by noon on some topwater lures. saw a few jump too. temp felt great and even got a sunburn! perfect day to be outdoors.
another rainy day at boysen but we got some action. hooked a fat 4 lb trout using a spinner. the wind was wild tho, felt like a mini tornado out there haha. still, caught a few more before we called it. gotta love the unpredictability!
had some light rain off and on but we went out anyway. fished deeper waters with tubes and got a bunch of bass. all around 2-3 lbs. nothing huge, but kept us busy! still love being out on the lake even with the patchy rain!
what a day! super sunny and nice temps at boysen. me n the boys caught a ton of perch, biggest was 12 inches! all on crappie jigs. water was more active today, felt like spring finally hit. we'll be back for sure!
