fishing was slow today, overcast and chilly. only caught a couple small sunfish. but still loved being out there, enjoyed nature. sometimes just being on the water is worth it, right? back at it next time!
wow what a day! overcast but warm, hit the pond early and caught my personal best – a 7 lb catfish! used cut bait near the reeds, felt like I was in a fishing dream. can't wait to go back!

another rainy day at the pond and the fish were still hungry! we got a few nibbles, but only landed 2 small ones. didn't matter, just being out there with good friends made it fun. rain won't stop me!
sun's out finally! fished at Bountiful this morning, the water was calm and I pulled in a couple fat bass using a crankbait. weather was perfect too, even made my day off feel like a vacation. gotta love spring!
