bluewater lake Fishing Report 2025

Hello Everyone, Today we had another awesome day of fishing. A huge variety of species including Yellowtail, Grouper, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Pargo, and Dorado. The Pargo we caught were off a school that was breezing on the surface. An incredible sight that was amazing to see. A patch of water was literally red with Pargo. We only caught a handful, hopefully we will be able to figure out how to catch them next time. Slightly breezy but nice on the anchor. Will Report again tomorrow, Team Supreme

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-19-2016 Hello Everyone, Today we woke up having hopes of a repeat day of yesterday. We started off the day by hooking a nice yellowfin of the same size quality as yesterday, but the school did not stick. We had our work cut out for us chasing school after school, spot after spot with the same results. The tuna had lock jaw today and had very suspect behavior of line shy bluefin tuna. Needless to say it was tough, we scraped up another school sized tuna and had a nice flash of yellowtail right at sunset. A nice way to finish off a great trip with a small shooter of yellowtail right before we rode off into the sunset and pointed to boat to San Diego. We Would like to thank Dave Dolan for putting together a great "lets talk hook up" four day trip. We sure had a great time catching some yellows and some of the best quality tuna we will likely see on a four day trip. We will be in bright and early tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by, Team Supreme

Hello everyone, Today we disembarked on our annual Holeman 10 day trip.It was great to see some familiar faces again. We loaded up on some perfect sardines and were on our way. Pointed south, we spent the day preparing tackle and settling in nicely. Also, the foretasted weather couldn't be any better as we make our two day journey down to the fishing grounds. We plan to finish up our fishing preparation tomorrow. With great company and great food from chef Mike, today was another day in paradise. Will report tomorrow, Team Supreme

We are going to run an open party limited load trip on Sunday March 2nd. The trip will cost $130 and will depart at 9pm on the night of the 1st. If you are interested in going we will be looking for squid and targeting seabass in the morning before trying to fill our limits with tasty rockfish. Great fishing happening right now at the Coronado Islands aboard the San Diego fishing out of Seaforth Landing. Yellowtail, bass, giant barracuda and bonita are all biting well making for a action filled day on the water and fat bags of fillets for the BBQ.  Head out during the week to beat the crowds as there is plenty of room on the boat all week. 

After another slow day offshore. We have decided to make Monday and Tuesday an island trip. We will be targeting yellowtail, kelp bass, barracuda and we even heard of a bluefin sighting today. Summer island tackle consists of a 25 lb bait rod, a 40 lb yo-yo rod, your favorite jig stick and your favorite kelp bass rod. Passports are required. Reservations are light but both trips are a definite go.
