Blue Marsh Lake Fishing Report

ugh, heavy rain ruined our plans today! went out anyway and got soaked. we got skunked on the fish, not a single bite! still had fun talking with my buddy though. we’ll hit it again when the weather clears up, gotta get that fishing fix!

definitely a rough day out there! overcast and chilly at blue marsh. only caught a couple panfish, but no keepers. tried everything in the box but they just weren’t biting. we stayed optimistic but had to pack it in early. next time will be better!

ok so we showed up and it was way colder than we expected! caught one decent catfish though, maybe 5 lbs? it was super windy too, hard to keep the line straight. ended up leaving early cause of the patchy rain but still had a good time with the guys

went fishing this morn, looks like rain but we still took our chances. only managed to snag a couple of smallmouth bass, like 2 lbs each. they were biting early but as it got cloudy, not much action. at least we enjoyed some good company!

had a lovely day out on blue marsh! caught 5 bluegills, they were all over the place. used a small worm under a bobber, super simple but effective. weather was nice, partly cloudy and not too hot. gonna hit the lake again soon!
