what a wild day on blood river! heavy rain and wind made it challenging but I still pulled in a decent 5lb bass using a jerkbait. it was like a battle! felt great to get that fish despite the weather. can’t wait for the next trip!
took a chance on the river this afternoon and wow! got soaked by sudden downpours but I managed to land a 3lb catfish!! used cut bait and it worked better as rain fell. fishing is unpredictable but that’s what makes it fun!
caught the tail end of the rain today, had better luck than I thought. landed 3 nice bluegills on worms. the wind was mild but the water was kinda muddy from the rain. still, it was a good time with some good friends!
was out on the blood river again but the weather was kinda rough. patchy rain kept coming and going, only managed to catch 1 little bass. gear felt heavy with water! pretty chill day tho, just me and the river, you know?
not the best day on the water, rain was heavy and the fish were hiding, caught only 2 small ones. used spinner baits but they weren’t biting. still, it felt good to be out. I guess that’s fishing for ya! maybe better luck next time.
