👤 Jesstoday was a rainy mess but went to blackhawk anyway. unexpected find - a 5lb bass on my first cast! just using a crank bait. rain was annoying, but honestly, it felt nice to be out there with the lake all to myself. gotta love fishing life!

👤 Mikewent fishing at blackhawk again, weather was alright but not great. caught a few small bass, nothing too crazy. used my favorite plastic worms, but they just weren’t biting like before. maybe the lake needs a bit of sun! still had some fun with the crew tho.

👤 Emilyso I tried hitting blackhawk again on the 23rd. super cloudy, felt like a fishing day but didn’t get much of anything. just a couple of small perch. I think the cold front pushed ‘em deep or something. still nice to be out tho, went with some friends and had a blast.

👤 Kevinyesterday was wild! went out during that rain shower, didn’t think we’d catch much but bam! hooked a big ol’ catfish, about 7 lbs! used some stink bait and it did the trick. soaked but happy! sometimes you just gotta brave the weather for a good haul.
