Andrew Viola called in with an update from the 1-day trip from the Pacifica out of Seaforth Landing in San Diego, CA.

We have Yellowtail limits (5 per person) on the boat already this afternoon with most of them between 8-12 pounds.  We are still looking for more and we’ll see if we can get some Dorado or some Tuna on the boat next.

We have an Overnight trip leaving on Sunday at 10pm and a 1.5 day trip leaving on Tuesday at 9pm with open spots.

Captain Ryan checked in tonight to report in. We had 40 passengers on a private charter catch 136 yellowtail 174 calico bass. Very good action all day.

Polaris Supreme Trip Update 07-28-2016 We finished up our trip today with some scratch yellowtail fishing all morning and then an afternoon of rock cod fishing, all in all a very successful day and trip. Thank you very much Mark Costello and fellow anglers for making it so. Were heading up in some beautiful weather and looking forward to our next group with Tom Chaparro and his limited load of only 18 anglers.We still have openings on our four-day trip after Tom's five day if you would like to come out fishing with us! We are hearing signs of yellowfin tuna that actually wants to bite. We are excited to give it a try here on Tom's trip. And no Mark Castillo group it's not the local stuff! Polaris Supreme Trip Report 11-27-2018 The tuna started biting right away this morning! We had three going right off the bat in the gray light. We stayed real consistent all the way until about 11 AM keeping 3 to 5 going most of the time. It slowed the rest of the day but we still continue to pick right into the dark. Most of the fish were around 80 pounds with a few in the 60 pound range. Another great day of fishing! Our weather has been great. And of course were going to do this tomorrow. Wish us luck. Today was like yesterday but we didn't see the schools. We saw some in the morning but they wouldn't bite again. When mid morning came. the wind picked up and the rain started pouring off and on for the rest of the day. When the weather came up the fish went down. Very poor for the entire fleet. We'll be dockside in the morning departing on the last short trip of the year. 5 days.

Hello everyone We are wrapping up our Beck, Wagstaf and Emerson and Friends 5 day trip today. This trip the Joe Beck, Mal Wagstaf and Emerson and friends charters joined forces on this summer time five day trip. We had some great fishing on some great quality yellowtail. Most of the fish were well into the 25 lb class with some pushing 30lbs. The fish were up high and very surface oriented. They were being hooked on the fly line sardine and surface iron. It doesn't get much better than yellows boiling around the boat and chewing on the surface iron. We had very few small fish mixed in with these biting yellows, the vast majority were great quality fish. It was a great relief getting into these big biting fish after a few trying trips with tough conditions. The next leg of our trip was spent offshore and lead to fantastic kelp patty fishing. The kelps we found had great sized yellows on them school size tuna and also some trophy Dorado. We were able to top off our yellowtail count and mix it up with some Dorado and tuna as well. The water was blue, the fish were biting, and the weather was flat calm. Everything one would ask for during an offshore fishing day. We Depart on our Steele 5 day charter tomorrow Wish us luck, team Supreme
