Captain Mike Pritchard called in at grey light from the Tribute out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay, CA. We caught 2 Bluefin Tuna at grey light. We have one fish hanging. Captain Aliyar called in with us today from the Polaris Supreme:

We are on our way home after a 1.5 Day with excellent Bluefin fishing. We have limits of Bluefin Tuna up to 115 pounds with the majority in the 40-50 pound range. We had a stop last night in the dark and caught 30 Bluefin with the flat falls.

We have a bunch of 1.5 Day trips and 3 Day trips open for April.

Next open party trip departs on Sunday, April 11th at 7PM for a 1.5 Day trip.

Hello everyone, Today we spent the day working up towards home. Hitting spot after spot until we finally had a shooter of yellowtail at the last minute. A great flurry of fish to end out our fishing time. The yellows we landed were defiantly large, all between 20 and 30 lbs. We have the boat pointed home at the moment. Hopefully we make good speed! Today was filled with a lot of action and success. We had a lot of bites but also many shark casualties as well. Our solution pull until the line breaks or the fish is on the boat. In the process we were able to rule out certain 1/0 hooks that were not strong enough for the tuna we are catching and learn how hard we could truly pull on these fish.

From the hustle we were able to boat enough fish to make this our best day thus far, and stream line our gear selection.

Ryan Bostian called in from the San Diego with this report, "As it stands right now we are only about 30 miles from homw and we have about 150 Yellowtail on the boat, 6 Bluefin tuna & 6 or 7 Dorado. Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-26-2016 Good evening and thanks for checking in. We started this morning at our chosen destination only to find rather unfavorable conditions due to cold water. Looking past that, we still gave it our efforts and ended up getting a few on board. We finally decided after a couple hours that the colder water just wasn't going to work, we chose to make a move to another area a few hours a way and take a look around. Low and behold, there happened to be even colder water there. Needless to say, there was no stopping, so we just continued on to the west . It didn't to take long to find absolutely gorgeous, more than fishable waters. We spent the rest of the afternoon hitting a line of beautiful size kelps scratching away at good grade Dorados and yellows. We'll travel overnight to the tuna grounds with hopes of shutting down on that one glory school to finish out the trip in style.
