16 good grade bluefin tuna. We swung and missed at the yellowfin. Our bluefin were very challenging to hook. Please bring a 20 lb rod and a 30 lb rod

Polaris Supreme Trip Update 11-02-2018 We finished up the trip with a bang today! The morning started off hooking a couple fish in the gray light and then immediately losing them both. After about a three-hour lull of hooking nothing we got very busy for about five hours. Again it was the beautiful grade we have been catching And posting pictures of of course. I'm sorry to say that that's all I have to show you today is more pictures of awesome yellowfin tuna. We didn't have many to choose from because we didn't even get a chance to start taking pictures until we had around 20+ on board, we were so busy. One thing I've been reluctant to talk about is the fact that there have been almost no shark interactions! I think we lost a total of maybe eight fish all trip to the tooth fairy. Early on in the season we were losing 50 to 80 fish every trip to the great whites. I know they're still here in big numbers I seen anywhere between 5 to 8 shark dive boats at the island this last five days. We still have four more spots on our six-day trip after Thanksgiving if you would like to to come and give this a try! The Polaris Supreme Crew!

"we're wrapping up our 1.5 Day trip," said Mike Pritchard from the Tribute. "We made the run down here 130 miles and we had very good fishing. We got limits of Yellowtail, 60 Yellowfin tuna, 35 Dorado & 10 Bluefin tuna. It was fun fishing, a lot of the fish were caught on surface irons.We had very nice weather with a slight breeze ths afternoon.

Hello Supreme Fans, Today was our first day of fishing after two days of travel. We spent the morning trolling around for Wahoo which seem to have lock jaw. However the tuna wanted to bite, but they were not the grade we were looking for. So right around lunch time we made a 2 hour move which paid off for us. It was game on! biting Wahoo and tuna until first call for dinner was made. The grade of the Wahoo was excellent many fish were well into the 40 lb range even some pushing the 50 lb mark. What a way to end the day of fishing. We plan to stick around here tomorrow and try for these great quality Wahoo again. Also we still have a few spots available on our next 10 day. 73 yellowfin tuna 3 skipjack tuna. We were minutes away from bailing on our area after our first 3 schools swam away without biting. The words from my old boss Ed McEwen “never leave fish to find fish” once again proved to be spot on. A cooperative school late in the day made all of our frustration fade away.

Ran into some phenomenal grade (30-50 lbs) ahi. A long drift accounted for 39 tuna and 44 yellowtail (10-18 lbs)

Captain Shane just called in with 30 Bluefin, most in the 40-70 pound range. We go again tonight and there’s still room available.
