We had a descent morning and a descent evening. It was the in between part that stunk for us. From about 9 till 5 we caught and saw nothing. But in the morning it was steady stopping and after 5 we drifted catching fish until after dark so all in all I'd call it a good day. The fish were yellowfin tunas and we're still pulling on one as I write this and that's all I have to say about that. We're going to run up into American waters tonight and try for the Bluefins and the yellowfins tomorrow for our last day of this trip.

Brynn, Brynn, Brynn. Yes you. You sweet little 17 month old you. Your daddy says hi and he misses you and he loves you very much. I know you can read this. I have a sister in law named Brenna. Close enough.

We are planning on running some specialty trips sponsored by Berkley and Shimano These trips will be out of Santa Barbara, targeting White Seabass and/or shallow water Rockfish at the Channel Islands. "It's 1 O'Clock here & I think we have 10 Yellowtail on the boat." Ryan went on, "we're seeing them pretty good here this morning. These are very big fish, we have lost another 10 for sure. We had one stop where we hooked 4 and lost them all. That's just the way it goes with this sized fish. They are bigger today, about 25 pounders. Biting mainly to fly line bait, we have caught a couple fish on the yo-yo and on surface lures. But they are maily biting the fly lined bait. I'll give you a final talley on the way in. As of 1:00 PM I know we have at least 10 Yellowtail on the boat maybe a couple more. And we're still seeing them hook a few. I'll get back to you later.

April 17 & 18, 2013

Wednesday (the 17th) we had 10-11 Tuna in the 110-197 lb range and 12 wahoo. This morning we so far we have 8 tuna in the same range as yesterday, and 2 wahoo. Conditions are still good and we are having fun with the kite fishing. Yesterday we had some wind, and today's forecast is to be more, but so far we are having good weather. Hope it keeps up.

Good evening friends, Today we fished the yellowtail area again for another couple of hours, with very similar results. Things started off slow first thing in the morning, but picked up a little later. Soon we were able to put a nice bunch of mossbacks on the boat before we had to take off mid day. We are currently in route to the yellowfin tuna grounds. Recently they have been biting very well. We should be in the grounds tomorrow morning sometime after breakfast. Wish us luck, Team Supreme
