oregon inlet Fishing Report 2025

Capt Ryan from the San Diego from their 3/4 day trip as Capt Tarro to report they caught 82 Yellowtail for the day. If your headed down south make sure to bring all your Yellowtail gear, bring a flyline rig, yoyo rig and a surface iron rig. As of right now we have a small load for tomorrow and we are are go, so come on down and get in on this action.

Hello Everyone, Today was a rigging day. We spent the whole day getting our gear squared away for the upcoming days of fishing to come. Countless wire leaders, top shots, and lures were rigged up. We are ready for what tomorrow brings. Will report again tomorrow, Team Supreme

We have made a few changes to our schedule for Christmas break. Starting this Friday (Dec 21) we will be scheduled everyday until December 31. The only day we will not be scheduled is Christmas Day. On January 1st we will shut the boat down for our annual maintenance period. Happy holidays. Capt. Ryan Bostian.

36 yellowtail 95 reds 165 rockfish. Couple good shots at winter time yellowtail and plenty of taco meat for everyone.

We fished this morning without much luck. The one that we did hook the shark ate. So this will be another chapter for Bob Vance in his charter diary. Everybody had a great time and we look forward to seeing them all back again next year for Bob's annual trip. We will be in to the dock at 5:30am. We depart on Garry Roberts 9-day tomorrow morning. Myself as well as the crew are anxious to get down to Alijos. The fishing reports have been really good and we are looking forward to having our own great reports.   We had a good day.  We had a great day actually.  From about 8-12 it was pretty darn good fishing.  We scratched before that and we scratched after that.  And from 5:30 until close to dark we had very good fishing.  The best of the day.  Heck, I'll call it the best of the year for us.  Quality and quantity.  Through out the day the fish was all mixed up.  !4-22 pounds.  This evening I don't think I saw more than 2 fish below 16 pounds.  Most were bigger then that.  Like I said, we had a good day.  And we did it in the wind too.  All day long it was windy, windy, windy.  But we didn't care.  We were catching fish.

  We're going to stay the night and try and get another good hit in the morning and take it from there.  We may mess around up the lee of the Island or take off offshore and look for tuna.  We'll play it by ear.  First things first, we want a good hit.

 Well today didn't go like we were hoping.  We didn't catch anything on the anchor in the morning like we did yesterday morning.  So we thought at least we could get our 3 wahooless passengers a skin but that didn't happen.  There were quite a few boats trying.  We already caught a bunch of tuna the last couple days, so we stuck with the plan and got out of there way and left to go fish yellows.  That was a bust.  There were three of us looking around and none of us caught much.  Just a few handfuls of yellows was all.  So we decided to take off after lunch and we put it on course for Alijos Rocks.  We'll be there tomorrow morning and our plan is to catch some more wahoo.  We'll give it at least a full day there and maybe even another halfer.  Hopefully we have the place to ourselves there tomorrow.  We did get one really nice hoo during our travels this afternoon.  It was about 65 pounds.  A trip maker for the young Darrel.  You'll see it later on the website when we put it up.  Take care now.
