Hi friends. Pretty fun day today. One small yellowfin jig strike turned into a plunker on 30-70 lb. bluefin tuna. We had a lot of heartbreaks but we did manage to land a few of those beauties. Love seein' those big brutes. No prettier fish in the ocean, that's for sure. Anyhow, around lunch time, we had to call it a trip and make our way back home. It was a great way to end our day and the Blue/White group is pumped.

Mr. Gledhill is one of the most gracious chartermaster you could ever have and he assembled a great group of guys to take fishing with him. The cocktails and wine are endless and so are the good times. Thanks, Robin.

Anyhow, we'll be arriving to the docks tomorrow at 0600 hours and the boat will be turning around and leaving for a 2-day charter. Look for reports to continue from any number of captains or crewmembers other than myself. Also, we have an 8-day trip leaving after the 2-day that has a few spots on it and in the next couple of weeks, we also have a load of 1 1/2 and 2-day trips on schedule. Capt Ryan of the San Diego just called in to say he had 40+ (15-25 lbs) YELLOWTAIL today on a 3/4 day trip. They have an open party trip tomorrow departing at 5am, give SEAFORTH Landing a call at 619-224-3383 to get in on this action.

With the weather forecast looking good and a favorable moon phase. We have decided to switch back to offshore fishing. These trips will be limited to 44 pass and do not require passports. Come prepared with a 25 lb bait rod, a 40 or 50 lb bait rod and a 60 or 80 lb rod to fish a flat fall.

TIP FROM THE CREW : Flatfalls get bit better on smaller spools, use the smallest reel you feel comfortable with. A Talica 10 or 12 2 speed or something similar is perfect. We will fish offshore until we feel there is a better option.

Wow what a crazy sky this evening here along the Baja coast! Yesterday we departed on our annual AHI 7 day charter. The AHI charter has been around for 23 years and going strong! Today the charter spent the day rigging up, relaxing, and unwinding to a great selection of music, complete with a special outfitted sound system here aboard Polaris Supreme for this charter. It is a truly enjoyable atmosphere here, and the weather could not be better to go with it. We are all rigged up and ready for our first day of wahoo fishing tomorrow morning. Wish us luck! We have made a few changes to our schedule for Christmas break. Starting this Friday (Dec 21) we will be scheduled everyday until December 31. The only day we will not be scheduled is Christmas Day.
