We departed nice and early on Paul Hess's annual 5-day charter. Every year Paul puts together a great group of guys. Most are always repeat customers, but I saw one or two new faces this year.

Everyone is anxious to get out there and get their lines wet. The prospects look good for albacore, yellowtail and yellow fin. Our weather is good for the start and lets hope it stays nice. Thanks for checking in!

Captain Ryan Bostian called in tonight with an update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay, CA. We have been fishing offshore. Today we had 39 Yellowfin Tuna and 1 Bluefin Tuna. Our last trip we had 52 Yellowfin Tuna. Most the fish are 15 to 25 pound range. We are starting to see some bigger fish too. Please be sure to have a light rod (20#) and a heavier rod. Be ready to catch fish between 15 and 100 pounds.

Polaris Supreme Trip Update 11-17-2019 Great day fishing today on the yellowfin tuna. Over half the fish were 25 to 35 pounds. We also picked up quite a few Wahoo in the mix as well as one beautiful grouper. Definitely a fun day all away around. Our weather was absolutely beautiful except for about a four hour window mid day where the wind picked up pretty good and we got some rain. Otherwise a great day! Doing this again tomorrow. The Polaris supreme crew!

We traveled down to do some island fishing and late in the day we got into some excellent quality yellowtail. However, it wasn't going to stop there. Our evening bite was fantastic. Absolutely beautiful big yellowtails. Most all were over 30 lbs and lots over 40 lbs. Today was a fun day to be on the water. Thanks for checking in. Tommy and crew P.S. During these later trips the Tuna definitely got bigger. In addition the sharks have been non existent! Love those conditions!

                      Once again our day started off early with the kites going out at 0430 with high hopes of catching giant yellowfin tuna but it seem like the tuna just wanted to sleep in so by mid morning we put the jigs and went looking around, We found the wahoo and mid grade tuna striking our jigs the rest of the day, As the sun began to set we went into bait catching mode and caught a tank full of big bait, not much happen after that.
