lake Fishing Report 2025

Yellowtail fishing fell on its face today we had about 1 around. But we managed to keep busy have fun and catch some killer table fair. Thats right Rock Cod. You should see the rock cod fishing we had, it was pretty darn good. We where lucky the yellowtail and the Rock cod grounds are one in the same and we could do both while waiting for the yellows to bite. The lings and reds made up most of our catch today. All of us are looking forward to dinner tonight, it is going to be fresh tuna we caught a few days ago. We will be back in the tuna grounds tomorrow to finish off our trip. Tommy and Crew.

The San Diego finished today with 23 yellowfin 42 skipjack. Still plenty of fish out there. Make those reservations.

The Apollo, on a 1.5 day Colonett trip, just called with 39 Yellowtail on the boat for their day, with plenty of fishing time left! So here's the deal. We had a good finisher today. We started bright and early with coffee and stuff and then got on a school of those 30-40 plus pounders. It didn't stick longer then for us to get a couple handfuls. Then we had more coffee and stuff and then we had another school of those bf's that treated us the same. Then Shawn was ready to serve lunch but before Tommy could give the announcement we got on a school of 15-20 pounders that bit well for us. We didn't hang out long. We caught a couple rounds worth and then gave the school to our friends on another boat. Then we searched for another school of those bigguns but never found it before we were out of time. We did find another school of the 15-20's and finished our time on those. They were biting good. It was a lot of fun.

After that the crew enjoyed a boat scrub while the passengers enjoyed naps, movies, champagne, wine, cocktails, soda pop, and some relaxation with friends. A fantastic trip with a beautiful day on the weather side of things too. Sunny with not much wind. Nice. Thanks Robin and friends. Until next time. P.S. Its in range of our 2 dayer.

Hello everyone, Yesterday we departed on our Billy Stephens 7 day trip. This trip grew from a five day to a seven day. We are excited to be able to take this charter to a new neck of the woods and try for some new species that would not normally be possible on a five day. Today was mainly a travel day and was spent assembling our Wahoo rigs and leaders. An all day task that will hopefully pay off with some alligator sized Wahoo tomorrow. We will be fishing tomorrow, wish us luck. Team Supreme

 Oh how quick game plans can change out here.  Hello all and welcome back.  Or welcome me back.  Or... What was the question?  Never mind.  I'm back.  I had a wonderful trip off.  Spent a lot of time with my daughter.  She got much cuter in the last month and also became much more of a terror.  All joy though.

 When we left the dock this afternoon I felt pretty good about my game plan.  Go fish yellows for a day or two, then come catch tuna for the last couple of days.  We caught over a hundred tuna today on our departure day.  Good ones too.  20-40 pounders minus one 20 fish stop on small yellowfin.  Well that just threw a wrench in my whole plans.  I'm not whining though.  We're very grateful for what we caught today.  Not every boat in this ocean caught fish today.  So we're going to take it one day at a time now.  Hopefully we can do this again tomorrow.
      

Capt Mike Prichard from the Tribute called in the final talley from their overnight with 148 Yellowfin Tuna from 8 - 45 lbs, some really goos fishing. We also had good Yellowtail of which we kept about 40 of the from 6 - 12 lbs with a couple in the lower 20 lb range, we also released a lot. We a also seeing al lot of Dorado around the kelps, we were not able to get any to bite today. Fishing across the board has been very good, although the Bluefin have not been around. POLARIS SUPREME TRIP UPDATE 10-03- 2020 Socked in fog today and this is all eye ball fish! We caught 1 fish in the dark and one mid day. It finally started biting late, bit into the dark and turned into a fantastic day. all Bluefin today 25-55 pounds. The seas where flat calm and look like they will be for a few more days. Only 1 pic too busy. In tomorrow and back out for 3. The Polaris Supreme Crew!
