hawkesbury Fishing Report 2025

Stopped on schools of bluefin all day today but we’re unable to get one to stick. We did however land this 140 pound beauty. Back out tomorrow.

Hello Everyone, Today we had an nice hit on Wahoo. They were big beautiful fish. We managed to get everyone a Wahoo. Along with Wahoo we had some nice Dorado, Tuna, and even a Pargo mixed in. The conditions are really looking up around here! We will be working up trying for Yellowtail Tomorrow. Wish us luck, Team Supreme P.S. Hello Everyone Today fishing was slow. We spent the day offshore looking around for any warm water fish that wanted to play. Unfortunately we only were able to land a few small Yellowfin Tuna. On the bright side we have superstar pizza chef Joe Gigliotti aboard and today. He decided to grace us with his pizza talent. He whipped up more pizzas than you could shake a stick at with so many topping combinations that it would make the Poppa Johns R and D department have to work overtime, weekends, and holidays to even have a chance of keeping up. It truly seemed like the endless lunch, always finding room for one more slice, and another and another. Fishing was slow but the pizzas were coming in HOT and often! July 6

Today went as planned. We did about what we thought we'd do. Scratched at yellowfin most of the day. Our best stop was for 7, then 6, we had a handfull of 4's and the rest were 3's 2's and 1's. That's exactly how the tuna fishing has been on a good day for the last few weeks so we had a good day.

The weather did what it was supposed to do. It was beautiful in the morning and got breezy in the afternoon. It looks like the wind backed off when it got dark. Hopefully it stays that way. We're heading down to Cedros Island now and we'll be there at day break.

Polaris Supreme Trip Update 09-09-2019 This morning the bite started out early. We caught quite a bit of variety, an Amoco Jack, sum Pargo, an Amberjack, and the yellowfin tuna were still present! As daylight came around the skipjack slowly took over but not before we made a nice day out of it on yellowfin tuna with a few Wahoo sprinkled in. Guys are having a great time and our weather is beautiful. The Polaris supreme crew!

Captain Steve Gawitt just called in with an update from Aztec with an offshore update from San Diego. This morning on our first drift put 24 Bluefin Tuna, 2 Yellowfin Tuna, and 1 Yellowtail on the deck. We are seeing bigger Bluefin Tuna and we have had a fair amount of missed fish.

Fishing is still good. We got a good handful of nice grade tuna with most being around 100 lbs. and Matt got a 188 lb. and Bill got a 192 lb. The weather is excellent. Just beautiful. Pedro delighted us with a roasted chicken with a great cilantro sauce. Really yummy. And dinner with a superb grilled steak. It was another great day.
