We had a good day of fishing today on the yellowfin tuna most of the fish
were 40 to 55 pounds a few standouts in the 70 and 80 pound range! We again
had heavy losses due to tackle failure and of course the great white sharks!
Our weather was excellent all day. The guys are fishing 40 pound test to 50
pound test with very small hooks mostly size 1 or 1/0. Most of the fish lost
are probably in the 70 to hundred pound range. There just on so long that
the line wears through or they get munched! Everybody had a shot at two to
as many as seven fish throughout the day but our land ratio was down around
30%. We're going to do this again tomorrow hopefully we have better luck on
the landing end of it!, All in all it was great day.

Captain Mike Pritchard checked in at 8:15 AM with an audio update from the Tribute out of Seaforth Sportfishing in San Diego, CA. We have been drifting since 6:30. We have 8 or 9 hanging right now. We have had a bunch of casualties due to old line or locked up drags. We have had some quality action so far today. Our next trip is a light load. Come on out fishing with us for trophy Bluefin Tuna.

The Apollo will be running an open party over night trip out of Santa Barbara. This trip will depart on Friday night March 27th at 9pm for fishing Sat. This will be a freelance trip hoping for squid and sea bass, with rock fish. Good morning everyone, Yesterday started off slow, we tried a new area this morning that has not been given a good morning try in a while. However it did not pay off, all we have to show for our efforts is a few Striped Marlin. As we worked our way around we found a few batches of Wahoo spread out though out the area. A nice way to break up the search in this scorching baja heat. We did end up finding some biting tuna. A great grade of fish from 13-25 lbs. Fantastic action here to cap off the day. We are looking to top off our tuna count today and focus on Wahoo for the remainder of today. Wish us luck, Team Supreme

Captian Tucker McCombs checked in this morning with an update from the Endeavor out of Hook's Landing.  The Seabass are still biting a little.  We have some nice fish on the deck today.

                We're chalking up today as a travel day.  We started off fishing for yellowtails but it didn't work out too well.  The people who tried hard got a couple and some nice sheepshead but it wasn't good.  Choppy weather too so we started to slide down after a couple hours.  After that we looked at a couple spots for nothing.  We did the rest of our seminars, that being wahoo and big tuna, and mostly just headed down.  It doesn't look like we've seen the worst of this wind yet.  We're expecting the worst tomorrow till noon and then it starting to back off.  Hopefully it's workable and we can catch some wahoo tomorrow, but if not, we still need to travel down some to put us in position for the following couple of days.  I think these guys on here want a cow and we're going to give them some.  Or try our best at the very least.
