We have only 5 spots remaining on our June 1-6, 5.5 day trip! This trip is limited to only 18 passengers and is filling quickly!! Trip departs at 6pm May 31st, and returns 6am on June 6th. We will be fishing Cedros and Benitos targeting Yellowtail and calico bass. As well as fishing offshore for those early season bigger bluefin tuna! Ticket cost is $1300 per person. The Coronado islands continue to produce.

Hello Supreme fans. We have finally hit our stride and started fishing.Unfortunately it happened to be right in the midst of some extremely tough fishing. Our first trip of the year was an Open party three day trip. We spent the three day searching the ocean for biting tuna as well as some inshore action. The tuna fishing was really slow but full of lots of spots of fish, and they were BIG. Bluefin well into the 150 lb class were around but not biting. We chipped away at some inshore fish and were able to put together a nice catch of quality Reds and Lingcod from the bottom. However the star of the show was hands down the jackpot fish. A 130lb Bluefin Tuna, a hard earned fish that ended in victory! These fish were big and did not make it easy to hook them or land them. Their size, abrasive teeth, and unwillingness to bite created quite the challenge.We did managed to hook 5 fish and only landed one. We are out on a two day after Independence day. Wish us Luck! Hi friends. Great morning for us here on the Supreme. We worked our way up to the Yellowfin zone last night/early this morning and we were pleasantly surprised when we woke up on the grounds to find good working weather. With that, we got on a school this morning that produced easy Mexican daily limits for us in one stop. The grade of fish was 18-25 lbs. with a few bigger and smaller mixed in, they bit really well for us.

What turned on in the afternoon was the weather and we're presently bumping up the line to finish off our trip on Bluefin tomorrow. The boats in the area reported excelent, scores so we're hoping to use up the rest of our energy on the BFT's manana before we have to call it a trip.

Anyways, the passengers are doing fine; downstairs watching "Eastbound and Down" and getting ready to eat some of Chef Shawn's Asian-inspired ribs and hunker down for the remainder of the evening. We'll see how our weather shapes up but it's supposed to come down. We'll see. We'll chat with you tomorrow for a wrap-up report.

Polaris Supreme Trip Update 12-05-2018

Tuna fishing this morning was excellent. We took off around 10 o'clock and did a tour of the South end of the island sightseeing. Yep that's right decided to go sightseeing. The guys and gals had a great morning and they've had several great days and of course we have tomorrow to fish for a full day. So we decided to show them some of the sites! That of course was easy and a great success. We anchored backup for the afternoon and scratched a few more fish before dark. Tomorrow will be our last day here at the island. Hoping for a big morning and then maybe go do some yellowtail fishing.

Today the San Diego had 24 anglers catching 1 BlueFinn Tuna, 111 Yellowtail. Fish ranging from 5-20 pounds. Lot of fun. They have a private charter tomorrow, Saturday, but they are open after that. Call 619 224 3383.

Hi friends. Different day for us here on the Supreme. After thumping and bumping our way up the line last night, we were pleasantly surprised to find decent weather when we put the lines in the water. Our weather just got progressively better and better throughout the day. Super good feelings about that, especially after yesterdays beating. Anyhow, the Bluefin tuna cooperated for us this morning and we produced on multiple drifts all the way until after lunch. The grade of fish was dandy; a lot of 25-40 pounders with a few bigger and few smaller in the mix, but for the most part, it was a nice quality of tuna that the gang threw aboard today and we deserved it.

Although we would've liked more to make up for yesterday, we're happy that the gang had some action and we're happy with the quality. We're also happy with Chef Schoolers Fillet Oscar that we haven't had in a few weeks. With that, we've put a bow on this 3-day adventure and are currently en route back to San Diego. Our ETA is looking like around 06:30 hours tomorrow. The boat turns around for Mr. Eric Roggers 5-day party cruise. Look for Captain Drew to man the helm and the keyboard. Take care, y'all.
