florida show Fishing Report 2025

The San Diego checked in on March 16, with 25 yellowtail, 6 bonito and  100 rockfish catches.  Yo yo jigs have been the top producer so far but every school has boiled on our chum.Encouraging sign of fish for 1/2 the day today. Couple decent shots on all the popular presentations. We will try again tomorrow.

22 yellowtail, 65 calico bass, 1 bonito and 3 barracuda. Tony Brough and his charter group had good action fly lining sardines.

Captain Ryan Bostian called up early this morning with an update from "The San Diego" out of Seaforth Sportfishing in San Diego, CA. We got in really late last night so we were unable to call in a report. However, we had very good Bluefin Tuna fishing for tuna in the 20 to 40 pound class. Our group of 30 anglers ended up with 54 Bluefin Tuna. We did see some bigger fish jumping around but we did not hook any. The 20 pound bait rod was the ticket with a 1o or 2o circle hooks.

Today we tried our hand at Wahoo fishing once again. It was not the red hot bite like yesterday but it was still good numbers and unmatched quality of fish. Many 40-60 lb fish. We have to start heading up now. We may have some time to fish Yellowtail tomorrow on our way up. Here we have some victorious anglers after another great hit on Wahoo! Also Andrew with an absolute monster!

We had a good day of fishing today on the yellowfin tuna most of the fish
were 40 to 55 pounds a few standouts in the 70 and 80 pound range! We again
had heavy losses due to tackle failure and of course the great white sharks!
Our weather was excellent all day. The guys are fishing 40 pound test to 50
pound test with very small hooks mostly size 1 or 1/0. Most of the fish lost
are probably in the 70 to hundred pound range. There just on so long that
the line wears through or they get munched! Everybody had a shot at two to
as many as seven fish throughout the day but our land ratio was down around
30%. We're going to do this again tomorrow hopefully we have better luck on
the landing end of it!, All in all it was great day.

We just got tied up this morning from a 3 Day trip. We finished with 15 Bluefin Tuna. The first day we saw a good sign of fish bit it was hard to get a bite. Yesterday the fish were more scatted and it was tougher fishing. The biggest we landed was a 197 pounder and we had a couple in the 140-150 pound range. We put in the effort to scratch up 15 of them.

Hello everyone, Today we spent the day Wahoo fishing. It was a pretty slow day, conditions were poor and the current was not happening in our favor. We scoured the grounds for only a few Wahoo and Dorado. There were a few Marlin mixed in as well. Defiantly not good enough to keep us here tomorrow. We are off to try for tuna tomorrow. I’ve been fortunate enough to spend thousands of days on the water with thousands of other people and I have come to the realization that some people can see breezers and some people cannot. Another challenging yet successful trophy hunt for us today. 13 Bluefin Tuna, 2 yellowfin tuna.
