englewood fl Fishing Report 2025

Come fishing on November 30ths 7 day. We are all locked and loaded. Wahoo leaders are crimped, tied, and twisted. The tuna gear is on and ready to grab. Even the people who have giant Grouper on the mind have their heavy gear and big hooks tied on ready to flyline a Skipjack. We feel very ready and anxious to start fishing. Hopefully they cooperate . Hello everyone, Today we were traveling up the line and looking for kelps. We found one kelp that was loaded with Yellowfin Tuna and Dorado. It was as good as it gets, like an aquarium in the water. We fished until everyone was content with the number of fish they tagged. Fishing was so good they were eating the trolling lures bring dipped in the water. Very fun to say the least. We may have some time to fish tomorrow for a little bit depending on our speed. Will Report again tomorrow, Team Supreme

July 1

We had a good day of tailing at the Cedros today. After a short look around this morning we had an anchor job where we saw a little sign of those premium cow yellows from last night. You know which ones. Those 35-40 pounders is what I'm talking about. We didn't catch a lot but you don't need too many of those to get the crowd on the boat (crew included) oohing and awing. After breakfast we made a move, got some bait and then it was game on. We had good fishing on mostly 18-22 pound yellowtail. We sure would like to see that fishing stay consistent. Those were beautiful fish.

After several hours of pulling and winding we looked for more of those cows and made some drifts for halibut. We got a handful of halibut and a couple more cow yellows before we took off from there and headed north. We're going to look for tuna tomorrow. We have a few hours of stopped fishing time and we're hoping we can do that catching tuna.

Everyones having a blast and eating like champs. Dinner tonight is seared Ahi. Lunch today was sea bass tacos. Last night we had a seafood Alfredo. That's right. Champs.

This past week had a little bit of everything. Good fishing in flat calm weather to slow fishing in choppy weather and even some searching for kelp paddies in socked in fog. Our scores this week averaged 3-80 yellowtail 2-10 dorado per day and even 13 bluefin tuna on our Friday charter. Overall I would say that we are experiencing GOOD 3/4 day fishing. Most of our fishing has been taking place between 20 and 40 miles from Mission Bay. Even though our counts have been good , we still have some inherit risks that go along with offshore fishing that you should be prepared for. Whenever we fish offshore , we know that we are taking part in a "high risk , high reward" fishery. Since we are relying on finding kelp paddies in order to find fish , the possibility of never stopping the boat is real. The flip side of never stopping the boat is ; we may stop the boat once and have the best fishing of our lives. With another tropical storm down south , I believe that our fishing is only going to improve over the next month. Typically our offshore season continues until we get the first couple real storms from the pacific northwest. We run everyday , if you would like to join us call 619-224-3383 for reservations.

We just got tied up this morning from a 3 Day trip. We finished with 15 Bluefin Tuna. The first day we saw a good sign of fish bit it was hard to get a bite. Yesterday the fish were more scatted and it was tougher fishing. The biggest we landed was a 197 pounder and we had a couple in the 140-150 pound range. We put in the effort to scratch up 15 of them.
