Capt Ryan checked in from the San Diego to report that they finished yesterday's trip with 111 Yellowtail. We got a lot on the yoyo iron as well as the surface iron and flylined baits. Make sure you bring all your Yellowtail gear to be prepared, a 40 lb rig, a 25 lb bait rod and a surface iron rod.   Good evening everyone. We're out fishing again on a wonderful 2 day trip. That means we fished this afterrnoon and we have all day tomorrow. I was pretty pumped when we left the dock. The bluefin reports were good and the local guys were catching yellowfin close to home. We got a pretty good load of bait and took off on the hunt. We got the goose egg today. The very unfortunate 0. It was definitely a time of day thing because we saw a couple schools and plenty of loose fish, they just wanted nothing to do with us this afternoon. We're going to gather ourselves and get set up on the bluefin grounds tonight and hopefully make up for today tomorrow.

 The weather today was great and as always we hope for the same tomorrow. Also I love our new electronics. Wait till you see it.

Hello everyone, Today we weeded through a lot of small Yellowfin Tuna for a few premium models, from 20-40 lbs! It was tough weeding through the little ones to get to the keeper tuna. There was some nice Snowy Grouper mixed in as well. A nice Tuna/Grouper combo. We decided to head offshore around lunch time in search of kelp patties. We found one kelp that was absolute chaos. It was as fast as you could catch for a while. A beautiful Dorado bite to get everyone fired up. A few lucky anglers were lucky enough to catch some Wahoo on the kelp as well. Polaris Supreme Trip Report 09-26-2019 Good afternoon everyone I hope you guys had a great day like we did! Our weather was absolutely slick flat calm all day. I am afraid we're going to have to pay for this later on though. The usual rigging eating sleeping went on throughout the whole day here.
