delaware bay Fishing Report 2025

Captain Ryan Bostian called in tonight with an audio report from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay, CA. We had EXCELLENT fishing today. We fished at the Coronado Islands and our group of 34 anglers caught 155 Yellowtail (up to 23 pounds).

The are biting the fly-lined baits really well and also the Yo-yo iron too. Anglers comfortable with surface iron fishing were also very successful. We are heading back out there tomorrow.

Capt Mike Pritchard of the Tribute called in with a early morning update, they are off to a fantastic start to the day with over 50 Yellowfin on board already up to 30 pounds and some really nice Dorado. Hello Everyone, Today we had an nice hit on Wahoo. They were big beautiful fish. We managed to get everyone a Wahoo. Along with Wahoo we had some nice Dorado, Tuna, and even a Pargo mixed in. The conditions are really looking up around here! We will be working up trying for Yellowtail Tomorrow. Wish us luck, Team Supreme P.S. Not much to report today. We looked at a lot of water for not much. We found one jumbo school of tuna but it wouldn't bite. After sitting on it for over an hour watching them boil around the boat, everyone lost interest so we continued our hunt. A couple handfuls of dorado and one nice tuna later we decided to give it another chance. It's just to good to pass these beautiful grade fish up when they want to chew like yesterday.

Good morning everyone, Yesterday started off slow, we tried a new area this morning that has not been given a good morning try in a while. However it did not pay off, all we have to show for our efforts is a few Striped Marlin. As we worked our way around we found a few batches of Wahoo spread out though out the area. A nice way to break up the search in this scorching baja heat. We did end up finding some biting tuna. A great grade of fish from 13-25 lbs. Fantastic action here to cap off the day. We are looking to top off our tuna count today and focus on Wahoo for the remainder of today. Wish us luck, Team Supreme

Well that 40 to 70 pound bluefin was found today. Not by us but it was found. We're making a 160 mile move tonight so we'll be fishing hopefully catching tomorrow afternoon. Needless to say it was a slow day for us and all the other boats who went scouting. We finally had some action late on yellowfin but it was not enough to keep us there another day. Hopefully the mysterious bluefin keeps biting for weeks/months/years to come.
