We had great marlin fishing all morning long. Midday we went in search of wahoo but had no luck. While the weather was good this morning it turn rough this afternoon. Dinner tonight was a delicious salmon steak.

Still sign of yellowtail around but we were unable to capture one. Our passengers went home with plenty of taco meat.

Captain Mike Pritchard checked in this afternoon at 1:52 PM with an audio update from the Tribute out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay. We just finished up our two day trip and are headed back to the dock. We had very good fishing for. our rent rod charter. We had 20 anglers catch 184 Yellowtail and 8 Dorado.

We have one day trips departing tomorrow night through Thursday. We would love to take you fishing.

Captain Matt and the boys burning the midnight oil for twenty 35-50 lb bluefin and 1 yellowfin. Put the J hooks away and exchange them for circles when Mr. Bluefin is around.

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 09-20-2016 As I'm writing this right now the boat looks like a ghost ship. The boys are down for the count, after our first day of phenomenal Wahoo fishing and another day of great Wahoo fishing tuna fishing and yellowtail fishing into the dark they are some whipped puppies. In about 59 minutes we are going to try to do it all over again. I'm really curious to see how many are up as early as they were the first day! Thanks for tuning in we will try to get you some more reports for the upcoming day. Don't count on them coming out to quick we've been swamped! And yes it is still great weather! Stopping a school of tuna that is swimming at 8 kts often requires a lot of chum. Thanks to the best bait company in the business @everinghambaitbarge we managed to get a few schools to hang out with us for awhile. 42 bluefin 18 yellowtail.
