51 pass. 63 yellowtail 1 dorado. Our offshore area is looking better everyday ! Our next open party trip is Tuesday Aug. 13.

Captain Mike Pritchard called in this with an audio wrap up from the Tribute out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay.

Today we finished with 71 Yellowfin Tuna, 8 Bluefin Tuna, a couple of Yellowtail and Dorado.

We are out on a 3.5 day charter tonight.

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-04-2016 Hello Supreme fans, We started the morning out offshore looking for a tuna school to bite to no avail. After a couple hours of that we switched gears and headed in to the beach and tried our hand at yellowtail. Our efforts were rewarded with steady action on great grade yellowtail. We also had an expected species mixed in with the yellowtail, Yellowfin tuna! As the yellowtail action continued through out the day we were able to catch steady tuna as well. The yellows were biting the typical yellowtail rigs, however they did seem more concentrated on the surface. So the flyline fisherman had the hot hand. We are proceeding north at the moment, hoping to pick up speed and maybe have a little time to fish tomorrow. What a much needed great day of fishing! The Supreme Team

Well late in the day yesterday we got into a good school of albacore. They bite well and everybody was hung on the boat. It was a wild afternoon and we ended up with a nice round of albacore. This morning we are in a new area. Prospects look good and we've had a handful so far. We are coming up on a really good looking spot so I will update again later. Thanks! Tommy and crew

Good morning Everyone, Our annual Heil charter has come, the longest running charter on Polaris Supreme. We are very happy top welcome aboard this group of anglers. Ron Heil has been keeping his father's charter going for years with a good core group of anglers. We are exited to have these guys aboard as well as some new faces. Spirits are high, and we're all very hopeful for the next 5 days. Team Supreme

Come fishing on November 30ths 7 day. We are all locked and loaded. Wahoo leaders are crimped, tied, and twisted. The tuna gear is on and ready to grab. Even the people who have giant Grouper on the mind have their heavy gear and big hooks tied on ready to flyline a Skipjack. We feel very ready and anxious to start fishing. Hopefully they cooperate . Yesterday morning the fishing was great, but mid-day the fish went down. About 4pm we were back into some great action on the albacore and smaller grade blue fin. We also had some really nice hits on the yellowtail. Our weather yesterday and today is good. Today started slow with only a handful of albacore and bluefin.
