wow today was chilly! only a few bites but caught a decent flathead. spent the day just chillin on the beach, soaking up the sun the best I could. new fishing buddy joined, hope he sticks around!
cloudy day but took a chance. didn’t catch much, just a couple of small bits but it was nice to be out. brought my new rod and reel, it was a test run and worked like a charm! next time will be better.
had a lovely day fishing under the sun! water temp was up and the fish were biting. got 3 good-sized kingfish on jigs, biggest was 4kg! can't beat that feeling, great day on the boat with mates.
went for a quick trip in the arvo, lil bit of rain but nothing too crazy. ended up with a nice 1.5kg snapper, caught on a pilchard bait. hooked it right before sunset, perfect timing. love the rush!
finally got out for a sunny fishin day! caught a few small trevally off the rocks with just a basic hard body lure. weather was awesome, sun on my back, just me and the ocean. felt so alive!
