weekly Fishing Report 2024

Hi again anglers:

We have another trip that has two spots open. This is short notice but hopefully someone will he able to take advantage. This one is a two day departing Tues, August 28th at p.m. fishing the 29th and 30th. The trip returns on the night on the 30th. The San Diego out of Seaforth Landing in San Diego,CA checked in with us today:

33 yellowtail 170 assorted rockfish. Yo-yo jigs, dropper loops and surface irons all produced.

27 yellowtail 130 assorted rockfish 5 calico bass. For a brief period this morning the yellowtail reacted a bit better than the last couple of days. Hoping it’s a sign of things to come.

Limits of Yellowfin Tuna for our 2 day trip and 20 bluefin.

From 8:00 am till 4:00 pm we were either stopped on bluefin or driving towards jumping bluefin. When we pumped out the RSW we had 17 bluefin and 2 yellowtail. Flylined sardines on 25-40 lb with a size 2-2/0 bait hook was the top producer.

POLARIS SUPREME TRIP REPORT 09-17-2020 It was a fair bite on the good grade tuna in the morning. We caught the only angler who didn't have a Wahoo one. And then went scouting. We where rewarded with a Boomer school of Dorado. We fished it for 45 minuets, Releasing most all fish. We kept only 14. Yellowtail tomorrow. See you then. The Polaris Supreme Crew!

Today our 22 anglers landed 44 Yellowtail and 19 Bonito.  Tomorrow is a definite go with a light load.  Get out and enjoy this fishing before the bad weather starts.

We are just wrapping up our trip here at Guadalupe Island. The grade was incredible and they bit awesome! Can’t wait for our next trip!
