panhandle Fishing Report 2025

4 bluefin(3 over 100lbs) 15 yellowtail. A few good shots at very large bluefin. The opportunity to catch a fish over 100lbs on a day trip is truly amazing. Don’t miss out.

Good Morning Everyone, Today was a nice travel day. We mainly rigged all day, preparing for tomorrow. We found a dead Elephant Seal in the middle of some beautiful water, usually a dead animal out there is a beacon for life if its in the correct water. We managed to hook and loose one Dorado, not nearly the volume of fish we are looking for. We will start fishing tomorrow. Will report then, Team Supreme

Nov. 6

                Hello you all.  It's November 6th and we have a full load for a day and a half trip.  Nov. 6.  Now that's 2015 for ya.  So we're back out again and this time it's for an extended time because we have this 1.5 day and then we arrive/depart on a 10 day.  We're fueled and Smarted and Finaled up and ready to do it all baby.  First things first though.  We took straight sardine because we're going to mix it up this trip.  We're going to skip the veal tuna at the bank and fish for yellows at Clemente and look for a dorado kelp in the afternoon.  See you tomorrow.

                                                                               

Thursday, July 11th, 2013

Hi friends. We had ourselves a pretty eventful day for a rather slow day of Yellowtail fishing. I'm not going to lie; I think the entire crew had visions of hundred-plus fish drifts and not looking at breezers of non-biting fish, but rather breezers of snappin' fish. Well, the Bluefin worked their magic on our favorite Yellowtail hole and the Yellowtails acted just like Bluefin all day. We saw multiple breezers and we'd be lucky to capture two or three fish. We did have one nice drift this morning but for the most part we just picked and scratched to make a score. But, we did what we had to and made a day of it.

Other notable events of the day: We started bronzing at 0622 hours, it was sunny and toasty out for the majority of the day. We also caught and released about a dozen Black Sea Bass, we had a nice snap on the Calicos, Stephen Pistone took a sabiki rig hook to the finger, and Mark did everything that you would expect of Mark. I'll just leave it at that.

Anyhow, we're on our way up to finish off our trip at the Bluefin grounds and Chef Shabba and Shawn are kicking out sesame seared Ahi with fried rice and veggies. Tasty. POLARIS SUPREME TRIP REPORT 09-14-2020 Great weather today again. We had good Wahoo and Grouper fishing. Got to go Dorado biting. Good Day on the Water. The Polaris Supreme Crew!

22 yellowtail 2 dorado. Unable to find a lucky kelp or a school today.

Good evening everyone, We spent the day traveling up the line through some snotty weather. However it did ease up after dinner. Hopefully we have the makings for a nice night of sleep tonight before our 530 am eta tomorrow morning. This was a tough trip but everyone kept their head up and persisted through and fished hard the entire time. Although we only had a few windows of biting fish we made the most out of it. There were many familiar faces on this charter and many new faces who decided to join us. We enjoyed having all of you out with us and look forward to seeing you out with us net year. POLARIS SUPREME TRIP REPORT 09-16-2020 We had a good morning on good grade tuna, spent mid day catching small to medium grade yellowtail and the afternoon scratching away at the good grade tuna. Our weather is a little windy today! We miss our calm seas! Trying for tuna tomorrow! The Polaris Supreme Crew! P.S. Sorry no tuna pics. too busy during the bite.
