You know today I was thinking what a great job I have! Of course the weather is flat calm, that helps. No we didn't kick the heck out of a bunch of fish, but I did get to fish all day and was not stuck in traffic once. We did land 18 school Tuna and 5 nice yellowtail, on kelp's, Dolphin, blind jig strikes and other assorted methods. We saw close to a hundred pie plate size baby turtles, along with fin-back whales, blue whales, and big albatross birds.The day was finished with good news from our buddy boat who had some incredible yellowtail fishing in which we will be waking up to bright and early tomorrow morning! With good signs of big tuna on the lower banks - perfect for our Mag Bay trips - we have some late openings due to cancellations.

Our first trip departs Mag Bay on Nov 27, returning on Dec 4 (Tuesday to Tuesday), and will fish 6 full days right in prime big fish waters.

Capt Ryan of the San Diego just called in to say he had 40+ (15-25 lbs) YELLOWTAIL today on a 3/4 day trip. They have an open party trip tomorrow departing at 5am, give SEAFORTH Landing a call at 619-224-3383 to get in on this action.

Hey guys Ryan from the San Diego here! Today we went out with 25 passengers and caught 15 yellowtail. The style of fishing we are doing right now is a lot like offshore fishing. Lots of driving and looking. Our crew has been burning there eyes all day in the binoculars. Those who have patience and are willing to put in the work have been rewarded with a very large yellowtail. In the past 4 days we have caught 5 fish over 30 lbs. Our bites have been coming on both yo-yo and surface lures. Grab some fresh 40lb. mono and come on down .

Captain Ryan Bostian called in with an audio update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay. We have been fishing offshore for about a month now. Just recently we are seeing the fish starting to bite full speed. Today we have a rent rod charter with 100+ Yellowfin Tuna. Be sure to bring your 25 pound outfits and a 40 or 50 too. When the bite really good go heavier.
