Captain Ryan Bostian called up early this morning with an update from "The San Diego" out of Seaforth Sportfishing in San Diego, CA. We got in really late last night so we were unable to call in a report. However, we had very good Bluefin Tuna fishing for tuna in the 20 to 40 pound class. Our group of 30 anglers ended up with 54 Bluefin Tuna. We did see some bigger fish jumping around but we did not hook any. The 20 pound bait rod was the ticket with a 1o or 2o circle hooks.

Capt Mike Pritchard called in from the Tribute with a fantastic on the water report for today, so far we have limits of some really nice grade Dorado and a couple Yellowtail. The Dorado were in mid to high 20 lb range, we then started searching for tuna and decided to put out some Wahoo jigs and we did manage to get a couple nice 50 lb plus Wahoo for out efforts. Hello Everyone, Today we targeted yellowtail.Unfortunately there was no current. The lack of current made fishing difficult. We did manage to pick off a couple of Yellowfin tuna and a few Dorado. In addition to that we caught some nice Lingcod and Rockfish in the meantime. We will spend our last day trying for that school grade bluefin. Wish us luck! Team Supreme

We started our day today offshore tuna fishing. We were staying pretty steady jiggin em up. Onesie twosie for a few hours. We weren't seeing any volume though. Just handfuls of fish around here and there. No schools. The fish were also on the smaller side of things. We could've made a day out of it and ended up with a decent catch but the fish were on the smaller side of things. 8-12 pound yellowfin tuna and that's just not what we were looking for. So we decided to wind in the jigs and v line it down to the yellowtail grounds with the hopes of a sea bass mixed in.

The yellowtail grounds were very poor. There were two of us looking around there and we had a combined score of 0. Mr. Pfleger did get a white sea bass so we were stoked. Fish tacos in a couple days.

The weather today was fantastic and the forecast shows good weather for the rest of the week too so that's always good news. We're going to stick with the plan and go look for White Sea Bass tomorrow in some White Sea Bassy water. The ribs are smelling good so I gotta go.

Good evening, friends. Typical arrive/depart day for us on the Supreme today. We unloaded a beautiful catch of RSW-fresh yellowfin, bluefin, yellowtail, and dorado up to the top of the docks, unloaded the Joe Beck/Bob Vance group, headed to the fuel dock for fuel as well as an oil and fuel filter change, loaded up lots of groceries, and brought on the Garry Roberts group as well. After clearing the point with a decent load of bait, we enjoyed lunch, rigged tackle, and took some naps. A normal travel day for us with the exception of taking an hour at the end of the day to try and catch a few bluefin tuna. We didn't connect on any shortfins, so we continued our journey south and feasted on our standard prime rib departure meal. That's our day in a nutshell. Our weather is flat calm, sunny, and we're digging every second of it. We've gone from farmers tans, to tank top tans, and now it's time for a full-on shirtless bronze for this 9-day adventure.

Anyhow, to start our trip off, we'll be giving the offshore yellowfin/bluefin scene a try on Friday with the hopes of connecting with some of that better grade of fish. We're just going to take things day by day and we're closely monitoring Hurricane Ileana and her whereabouts. We'll chat with you tomorrow and fill you in on our day and our plan for the next. Hello Everyone, Today we had a great day chasing the bigger Bluefin Tuna. We were able to land some great quality fish. Most came on the kite, but the one we landed on a fly line outfit bit 80lb with a great designer hook. Our landing ratio is great, we only need a few more of these quality Bluefin Tuna to make it so everyone has landed a fish over 120lbs. Hopefully we can get it done tomorrow.
