January 22, 2025 yeppoon Fishing Report

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 09-23 and 24-2016 We don't have much to report for the last two days just travel days with a tad bit of fishing. We caught one halibut, we had great weather, we ate a bunch of good food, took a bunch of naps, broke down our tackle, and tomorrow morning we're going to be into San Diego at 730 and unload a beautiful catch of Wahoo yellowtail and yellowfin tuna! Thanks for tuning in this trip we will be leaving tomorrow afternoon at 6 PM on a 1 1/2 day trip fishing on Monday. January 21, 2025 yeppoon Fishing Report

Say what????? Limits of Yellowfin (25-45 pounds) the last day of November and after our last storm. Yup! Great sign of 100-200 pound plus Bluefin too, but the couple bites we had got away quickly. We have a few more trips this week before we go to the boat yard.

Polaris supreme Trip date 08-01-2019 We got a nice early start today on Tom Chaparro's annual Windham / Wells Memorial eight day chart.This is a special limited to 18 anglers trip dedicated to the discriminating angler who likes comfort without a crowd! Our bait supply looks good and the weather traveling down was good all afternoon. Although it might be a little bumpy going the other way up swell back towards home.We have a lot of familiar faces on board and are looking forward to a fun trip with the boys. Wish us luck! Will try to keep you updated every day throughout the trip. The Polaris Supreme crew!

January 16, 2025 yeppoon Fishing Report

Today we went out with 13 anglers and caught 33 yellowtail and 12 rockfish. The best way to catch a yellowtail today was on a yo-yo lure. These fish are very big and mean so make sure you have fresh 40 or 50 lb. monofilament. We did manage to catch a couple of yellowtail on the surface iron but the yo-yo was by far the most consistent. The yellowtail were in the 18-30 lb. class.

January 15, 2025 yeppoon Fishing Report

Hello Everyone, It has been pretty action packed today. Starting with biting Yellowfin Tuna in the dark then, changing to picking at Grouper and Wahoo during the day. Now settling back into a night time pick on the Yellowfin Tuna. It seems like there is always something going on. We are loving the variety and cannot wait for what tomorrow brings.
