Good evening. Things are happening down here on the Polaris Supreme. From this morning until about 1500 hours, we didn't do hardly anything. Some of that time was spent traveling but what I'm getting at is rather impressive. From 1500 hours until dark, we caught our daily limits of 25-35 lb. bluefin, 19 yellowfin, and 1 dorado off of one stop. Very good fishing and to top it off, the weather is very pleasant and it's looking like more of the same for the next 48 hours. We'll see. Good times today, man. You know it's good when Chef Schooler's afternoon snack sat on the table for three hours, untouched. Schooler was pumped too, surprisingly. He gaffed fourteen fish today (you know it's good when Chef "Shabba" is out on deck), got most on the first shot, and didn't knock one off of the line. Sonny Jim! We're very proud of Shabba and the boys had themselves a real ball.

Anyhow, the boys are all tucked away and getting their rest for tomorrow. We'll chat with you then. Peace.

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 06-28-2016 A beautiful Tuesday we are having! Four yellowtail average per passenger and great weather. We are busy and that's all we have time for tonight Brendan just landed a 30 plus Yellow and its 9:00. Sea Ya Tomorrow. Polaris Supreme Crew!

On the second of May we hauled the boat out of the water and started boat work and today on the 10th of June we are still hard at it. Our main goal this year is cosmetics we have painted the whole exterior of the hull above and below the water line the inside boat works the house bait tank storage racks and the wraparound and the decks. We're now starting on interior cosmetics carpeting all the floors ceilings and walls of the whole boat. Quite the extensive maintenance definitely the most boat work we have ever done at one time.

Nov. 12

Not too much to report today, but we got our lines in the water, and ended up with a few varieties of fish chilling in the refrigerated sea water. We ended up at sort of a one-stop-shop in that we caught the three species that we were targeting all on the anchor. That is not typical fishing, down this way. We usually find the fish one species at a time. Half the boat caught a wahoo today so that's not a bad start and we caught quite a few 15-30 pound yellowtails too with a handfull of call them 25-40 pound tuna as well. Weather continues to be nice, with a bit of wind that popped up later on in the day. It was great to finally use some of that tackle today, that we've spent so much time rigging over the past few days. Now we can get down to the serious business of (hopefully) catching some creatures from the deep blue sea to bring home, and share with our families at the dinner table.All is well aboard the Polaris Supreme, and it's first call for our evening meal consisting of pork chops, apple sauce, and assorted goodies. July 16
    Arrive depart day today.  We did the whole routine, I hung out with my baby for an hour and it was time to set sail again.  We left on another 5 day with my buddy Archie and his gang and a few other regulars.  We did well at the bait receivers.  We loaded up on small sardine and left the bay and headed out to do some fishing in the afternoon.  We didn't do much.  A couple of yellowfin is all we caught.  We did see a couple of big schools of 50-80 pound tuna that didn't care we were there at all.  No bites.  We're eating prime rib and heading down in nice weather.  We're going to try for some yellows on the coast in the morning and then head offshore for the afternoon hunting yellowfin.
