hey folks, hit the forster area today (June 7th) and it was mostly cloudy but pretty decent out on the water. the temp was around 13.5°C, and the wind picked up a bit at 30.6 km/h. managed to catch 5 flathead, biggest one was around 60cm! used a soft plastic in a natural color, fished it slow along the bottom near the rocks. really got the adrenaline pumping when I felt that first hit! also saw a couple of dolphins swim by, which was a nice treat. all in all a good day out there, can't complain. hope to get back out soon, tight lines everyone!
