83 years of good living paid off for San Diego regular Al Kish with this Limit of quality Bluefin. We landed 10 bluefin. 8 at 70 lbs 1 at 85 lbs and 1 at 130.

We have to fill this Oct 5-day. All season long I here everyone asking how they can get on one of our 10 passenger Guadelupe trips. Well here it is. I have 2 spots open on what is really a 5.5 day trip to Guadelupe with only 10 people on the Apollo. The trip departs on the morning of Oct 1rst at 9am. and returns mid morning on the 6th. $1800 covers all meals and permits. This trip is a charter and if you are a part of it now chances are you'll be invited on many other trips with this group in the future. Hey everyone, Today was our fourth and final full day of fishing down south. We started off the morning looking for wahoo. It did not take long before we found a nest of hungry 'hoos. We made a few passes over them and picked off a handful each time. We even had a few marlin mixed in with the wahoo that put on quite a show. By the late morning the wahoo bite slowed down and we began to look around for other signs of life. It did not take long before we found a large school of yellowfin and they stayed with us until the sun went down, with 2-5 fish hanging the whole time they kept us plenty busy all afternoon. With sore arms and smiles on everyone's faces we sat down for dinner and enjoyed a delicious plate of fresh fish, thanks to the charter master who generously donated one of his fish. With a couple hours of fishing time left for the trip we are going to spend it looking for yellowtail as we begin to make our way north back to San Diego. Until next time, Team Supreme

The day started up very well for us. It was good scratching up until just after lunch and fishing took a dump. We looked around the Island for a bit and after making a few stops for a few more fish we took off from there and are now heading west to the big Island. We have a great catch of jumbo yellowtails on board and we're hoping to get some jackpot settling trophy size yellowfin tomorrow. Portuguese style yellowtail for dinner tonight. We had it last trip for the first time and I must say it was by far the best yellowtail I have ever eaten in my life.

19 yellowtail 88 red rockcod 35 rockfish 1 halibut. The daily game of hide and seek we play with winter yellowtail is something we are very familiar with on the San Diego. Today we busted them in an area they have used many times in the past. Sunday and Monday have been cancelled due to weather. Tuesday will be our next available trip. 619-224-3383 for reservations.

Mike Pritchard checked in to let us know that the Tribute catch was now up to 89 Yellowtail. The grade is still in the 10 to 15 lb. range.

Captain Aliyar called in with us today from the Polaris Supreme with the first trip of the year scheduled for this Friday.

We have our first 1.5 Day departing on Friday, April 2nd at 6PM. We will be targeting Bluefin Tuna. So if you guys want to come out give us a call or check us out online.
