Captain Ryan Bostian checked in today. The Yellowfin Tuna fishing continues to impress. Today we had 75 Yellowfin Tuna and 13 Skipjack Tuna. The San Diego is online for fishing offshore. Call at (619) 224-3383 or BOOK ONLINE at www. thesandiego.com.

Capt Mike Prichard from the Tribute called in the final talley from their overnight with 148 Yellowfin Tuna from 8 - 45 lbs, some really goos fishing. We also had good Yellowtail of which we kept about 40 of the from 6 - 12 lbs with a couple in the lower 20 lb range, we also released a lot. We a also seeing al lot of Dorado around the kelps, we were not able to get any to bite today. Fishing across the board has been very good, although the Bluefin have not been around. The day started up very well for us. It was good scratching up until just after lunch and fishing took a dump. We looked around the Island for a bit and after making a few stops for a few more fish we took off from there and are now heading west to the big Island. We have a great catch of jumbo yellowtails on board and we're hoping to get some jackpot settling trophy size yellowfin tomorrow. Portuguese style yellowtail for dinner tonight. We had it last trip for the first time and I must say it was by far the best yellowtail I have ever eaten in my life.

Today we finished with 71 Yellowfin Tuna, 8 Bluefin Tuna, a couple of Yellowtail and Dorado.

We are out on a 3.5 day charter tonight.

After yesterday’s wind and rough seas things felt a bit churned up. We still saw the same amount of fish but only managed 2 yellowtail. We captured 85 reds 72 assorted rockfish while waiting for the conditions to change.
