We are putting the Tuna to sleep here aboard the Polaris Supreme! Great grade again 60-110 lb fish. Big fish paired nicely with great weather. We are loving it!

54 passengers 6 yellowtail 80 calico bass 56 barracuda. Great summertime action taking place at the Coronado islands right now. Yellowtail are always the target species this time of year. However, almost every spot that we try to catch yellowtail at also has calico bass and barracuda. It would be a good idea to bring a 15 lb. bass rod along with your yellowtail gear.

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-03-2019 We scratched out a few nice grade fish today. We had a couple grouper up to 40 pounds and a few hands full of 25 to 40 pound yellowtail. We have some great pictures of them but we were unable to upload them to the computer from our photo apparatus. We'll work on that and try to get you those pictures tomorrow. The weather and food is great and were hoping for a big hit tonight. I almost forgot we had two really nice 60 pound Wahoo to go with it. Be looking for their buddies tomorrow! Polaris Supreme Trip Report 09-23-2018 We got out early today and were in the local yellowfin tuna grounds by one p.m. We saw of plenty kelp's and several sonar schools of yellowfin tuna, It just didn't want to cooperate. Their where some great scores out here today for a few the boats and we're excited to try this again tomorrow and hopefully get in on the morning bite. The tuna we caught were absolutely beautiful grade! The Polaris supreme crew!

Good evening from the Polaris Supreme bridge. Today was our first full day of travel. We still have this big swell following us down the line, but it's not doing us any harm.  We're rolling down swell with it, so it's not a real big deal.  I wouldn't mind it being a few degrees warmer, but it is the middle of February.  Everyone got to sleep in a little bit and have a nice breakfast at 0800.  The crew gave a wahoo seminar mid morning the get the guys tuned up on catching some "skinnies".  It's nothing new to the OTR guys,  but a little refresher course never hurts.  They got right into making their leaders, rigging wahoo bombs and so forth. Certainly helps break up a travel day.  Chef Mike and Gringo put out a real nice Chicken and artichoke penne pasta with pesto sauce and garlic bread for lunch. That dish always makes for a nice nap afterward.      

                The rest of the afternoon was just a bunch of catching up with old friends, eating more food as we always do on these trips and the crew doing a few chores before dinner.  Just another standard travel day here on the Polaris Supreme. Till tomorrow, this is the Supreme boys out.
