nw Fishing Report 2024

So just how are these Blue fin being caught.

Unfortunate the weather made it very difficult to work yesterday but we did manage to get in a couple good opportunities. It the morning we got on a school of bluefin tuna right way and where able to drift for a few hours keeping multiple fish hooked. In the afternoon we found a new area of yellowfin tuna that looked very encouraging and we got a couple good chances at those as well. The weather is forecasted to be good for the next week so hopefully we can continue to get on them !! 

Captain Ryan Bostian called in this afternoon at 3:30 PM with an audio update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay. Today we fished at the Coronado Islands and had very good action. Our 28 anglers caught 140 Yellowtail, 50 Big Barracuda and 20 to 30 Bonito. They were biting really well on the fly-lined sardines and surface iron.

Hi friends. Not too much to inform you all about today. Arriving to the shipyard this morning at 0700 hours, we wiped down the outside/inside of the boat with a mixture of ammonia and water and once dried, we wiped off the remaining dust with some tack rags and that was our final chore of our shortened day. Jesus got down to business with his roller and his brush and we'll know how it went tomorrow morning. Rumor has it, we'll be hand-sanding the entire boat tomorrow with a very light-grit sandpaper and then, the final coat will be applied and hopefully, that will be the last of it. We'll see how things end up tomorrow and we'll report back to you tomorrow. Be on the lookout for some photos in the next few days. Take care

Wow what a crazy sky this evening here along the Baja coast! Yesterday we departed on our annual AHI 7 day charter. The AHI charter has been around for 23 years and going strong! Today the charter spent the day rigging up, relaxing, and unwinding to a great selection of music, complete with a special outfitted sound system here aboard Polaris Supreme for this charter. It is a truly enjoyable atmosphere here, and the weather could not be better to go with it. We are all rigged up and ready for our first day of wahoo fishing tomorrow morning. Wish us luck! Another great start today. The Yellowtail are biting extreme well. It was a great couple hours of fishing to start the day. 

After we had enough inshore fishing we decided to head offshore to look for Bluefin. We were able to connect later in the day, with 5 Tuna up to 40 lbs. 

Tough conditions offshore, hoping the tuna will bite better soon.

Good evening everyone, Today we did some inshore fishing. Conditions were not favorable, not a lot of current left the fish very unwilling. However were able to scratch together a day of nice rockfish, Sheepshead, and a variety of other fish. Including the inshore trifectra: Yellowtail, Halibut, and White Seabass! A nice day to get out of the weather! We are headed back down to try for big bluefin tomorrow! Wish us luck, Team Supreme
