moreton island Fishing Report 2024

Captain Tucker McCombs called in this afternoon with a wrap-up from the Endeavor out of Hook's Landing in Oxnard, CA. We had limits of Seabass today in the 15 to 25 pound class. The fish were biting pretty good today. We are booked up throughout the weekend but we have plenty of room next week.

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-06-2019 PM Great day of fishing today. We got into the Wahoo. Some nice Dorado in a fair catch of yellowfin tuna. Our weather is great and were settling down to a nice duck dinner. The Polaris Supreme Crew!

Hello Everyone, Today we had a great day of fishing on 20-40 lb Bluefin and Yellowfin Tuna. With a few 70 lbers mixed in. The style is awesome, long drifts keeping 1-4 going for hours at a time. We are loving the grade of the fish and that they are biting consistently. We are in tomorrow and leave on an 8 day. It will be nice fishing south for a nice change of scenery. Polaris Supreme update 08-16-2012 JP. Wrap Up.

                  Thank you very much Eric Rogger and gang for making it a fun filled five days.  We hope you all enjoyed your time aboard as much as the crew enjoyed fishing with you.  It was really a spectacular catch to see once it was all laid out on the deck this morning.  The jack pot winners were again up there in the 40 pound range, with One Hour To Glory, Doug Aihara coming in first place with a 47.2 lb.

11 yellowfin 83 skipjack 6 yellowtail 1 dorado. We covered some ground and ended the day with a couple good stops. Offshore fishing is always high risk high reward

14 bluefin 9 yellowfin 1 yellowtail 1 bonito. Saw enough fish to get a big hit but unfortunately they were not in the mood today. We did see more plus sized models in the mix. We recommend 40lb-60lb line for all techniques.

Capt Mike Pritchard of the Tribute called in with a early morning update, they are off to a fantastic start to the day with over 50 Yellowfin on board already up to 30 pounds and some really nice Dorado.
