Why hello there, friends. How are you? Us? Fine, thanks. What did we do today? We caught 76 Bluefin tuna, some Yellowtail, and a Dorado. We caught Bluefin tuna in every single scenario you could have imagined. Jig strikes, sonar schools, meter marks, kelp-associated, and we also caught one off of the biggest breezer most of us have ever seen. I'm not kidding, this thing was a 1/4 mile long. Crazy. Anyhow, the grade for the most part was 16-25 lbs.and most came out of one drift just after lunch, but we had a shot later in the day when some big fish found us and we landed a handful of those 40-60 pounders. All in all, it was a good day for Chappy and the boys and we've decided to give this another shot tomorrow. No shortage of Bluefin bown this way. We never went long without seeing a school to play with, but most gave us the slip with the exception of a select few. F-ing Bluefin, they're so wiley!

Our weather is fine; a little bit of swell with a little bit of wind, but the wind is cold, real cold. Other highlights of the day included Herb Y. handing out his handmade wood bowls, nutcrackers, pepper grinders, and all the University of Oregon gear that you could shake a stick at. I scored a sweet U of O golf jacket. Pumped. Chappy got in the mix and handed out some charter T-shirts for what will be the Ted Windham Inaugural Charter. Thanks to Herb and Tom for the swag.

So that is all. Chef Shawn kicked out some killer sushi appetizers today and just now kicked out some killer lamb chops. Mama D also kicked out the most wicked brownie, praline, chocolate chip, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate sauce dessert I've ever witnessed and we thank her for that. Team Galley was on it today, boy. Alright, we're going to give this tuna thing another morning and gather a game plan whether we'll bomb down to the Yellowtail grounds or stick it out offshore. We departed this morning nice and early with Garry Roberts and 19 other anglers for Garry's annual charter. We got a good load of bait, the weather is nice and everyone is excited to see what the next 9 days will bring. Wish us luck and we will keep you posted. Thanks, Tommy and crew

Caught a few nice Bluefin right as our time expired. 

Jodie Morgan called in with this report for the Apollo out of Fisherman's Landing. "We have limits of Yellowtail, averaging about 24 lbs. We have also caught 1 Bluefin Tuna. We are on a 1 Day trip. It is beautiful weather.

 "Fixed up" is a good expression to describe our day today.  We had very good yellowfin tuna fishing.  We arrived to our destination shortly after breakfast and after about 1/2 an hour of searching we found what we were looking for.  A school of 25-30 pound yellowfin.  It bit for a little while before we had to relocate the school, which we did a few times.  After that we found a different school of a more mixed grade of 10-30 pounders that we hit a couple times.  Then we found a school of mostly 16-22 pounders that we did well off of.  I think you get the point.  We had a good day.  Along with all the tuna we caught, we also managed 7 wahoo and 4 dorado.  I'll say it again, we had a good day.  We're feeling satisfied.  Worth the days travel to get where we've been the last couple days, that's for sure.

 The weather today was fantastic.  Fan tastic.  We'll be traveling tonight and sleeping in tomorrow.  We're shooting to be fishing tomorrow afternoon.  We'd like to top off on some yellers.
        

Wow, I think we have to pinch ourselves to make sure it's real. We had an unbelievable day. You could throw a bait in the water any time from day break to dark and catch a tuna. Some anglers released as many as 15 tuna in the 35-45 lb. class. We also scratched a few wahoo. After a delicious dinner of a veal shank, fresh asparagus and red potatoes all our guys and one lady went to bed very tired. Our weather is gorgeous and we are looking forward to another fantastic day tomorrow. Thanks for checking in. Tommy and crew P.S. Hello everyone, Today we had another nice day of yellowtail fishing. We got a good morning jump on these guys and put quite a few on the boat right off the bat. There has been some tuna schools roaming around this area as well, we picked off a few mixed in with the yellowtail. However when we went out to try and find them we only had a couple jig strikes and skip jack breezers. That about wraps up our Seeker/Sadie Hawkins 3 day charter. We would like to thank Bev Seltzer for putting together such a great trip. We are looking forward to next year already! Until next time, Team supreme

Capt Ryan Bostain checked in from the San Diego, they have been fishing offshore the last week and have been scratching away getting 20 to 40 Yellowfin Tuna a day. But yesterday we had a private charter that was a rent rod group, we found our first really aggressive Yellowfin. We got on the school of fish that ranged from 20 to 60 lbs, and we ended up putting 92 of these fish on the boat. If you come down make sure to bring a variety of set ups, make sure you have gear ranging from 25 to 50 lbs as they were biting the heavy line yesterday. The jigs and poppers have been working well also. We depart everyday at 5:30 am, we are headed out right now and will check back in later.
