We have a two day trip that has some spots available. The trip departs Sunday the 9th of September at 9 p.m. fishing the 10th and 11th. and returns on the evening of the 11th. This two day is limited to 20 people. Cost is $510 per person and includes food and permits.

Friday, Sept. 28th, 2012

Hi friends. We just wrapped up an epic day and a half trip this morning. Drew really set the stage for this two-day trip that we departed on this afternoon.

On Thursday, we landed 16 bluefin before we even rubbed the boogers out of our eyes and from there we picked and scratched on various jig strikes on yellowfin and kelp paddy fish. A little after lunch, Gunny spotted a kelp that wrapped up our day on yellowfin and dorado. Awesome fishing in flat calm weather. Beautiful. The "blackhawk" strikes again. It really was a fantastic trip and we're hoping for more of the same tomorrow. Oh yeah, we also caught 4 slug albacore. Call Susan and book your spots for 2013 ASAP! Do it.

Captain Ryan Bostian checked in this afternoon with an update from “The San Diego” out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay! Today we had 44 anglers catch 68 Yellowtail and 2 Bluefin Tuna. Our Bluefin Tuna were very nice grade today. We had on fish weigh 86 pounds and another at 103 pounds. In addition, we lost a few other jumbo Bluefin Tuna. The hot ticket today was a flat fall fished on 60 or 80 pound test.

The Apollo scored limits of nice grade Rockfish today at San Miguel Island. The Apollo will be running OPEN PARTY Overnight trips every Saturday night. Give them a call and fish the Outter Channel Islands fishing for White Seabass in the morning and Rockfish in the afternoon.

Captain Mike Pritchard called in this morning at 10:41 with an update from the Tribute. So far we have 130 Yellowfin Tuna and a couple Bluefin Tuna. We are running another trip departing on Monday. Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-09-2016 Good afternoon and thanks for checking in. We gave it a solid effort throughout the night for some greenies a.k.a green back mackeral to replenish our bait supply but they just didn't want to cooperate on a full speed basis. However, the we did manage to get quite a few in the tank. At 0530 we went right into yellowtail fishing. It was certainly a pleasant start having the wind subside from the two days prior. It just makes for an all around better day. We didn't fair out too bad in terms of finding spot after spot of fish, these things just seemed to have a little case of lock jaw. They come up boiling, showing real well, but only a handful at a time decided to take what we had to offer. Regardless, there was a descent morning put together by the guys. With everything really starting to mellow out and bite less as the morning went on, we decided to point north and gain some latitude to ensure everyone a final shot in the morning at tagging some fish before we have to call it a trip. Right now we are in some absolutely beautiful offshore water that should produce a nice sun downer stop. About another hour til Chef Mike lays out a nice coconut crusted yellowtail dinner and we call it a day. Thanks again for stopping by and we'll check back in tomorrow. Tight lines, Team Supreme

Good Evening, Our last day of fishing started off early and i mean 0230 early! with the kites out and everyone soaking baits and dropping jigs down hoping for that early morning tuna bite , a few fish were hooked but won their freedom, Once the sun came up we went into search mode again, We found the wahoo and tuna under bird schools very willing to take our baits with the wahoo began charging the boat in packs, with only a few hours to fish before heading for the cape, We put our fair share of them on the boat before calling it a trip. We are now headed for Cabo! Gunny and Supreme Team.

We arrived at the Island around 1 pm. We did a lot of searching before we got the anchor down and began to fish. Immediately we began seeing fish boiling around and on the sonar. However bites were few and far between. We did land a couple larger models but it did not do justice to what was around. Hopefully they want to bite tomorrow. Here we have Jim starting us off with a nice Yellowfin Tuna.
