Hi Anglers

Well I tried to get a hold of Drew since four this afternoon to no avail. And that's usually a good thing...and indeed it was. Finally at seven he picked up and said he was getting them good. He had 117 bluefin, and it was all that nicer 25-35 lb. grade. It's amazing this fishing has been going on since June. I hope I don't jinx myself here, but it looks like we're heading for a record year here on bluefin.

163 yellowtail 2 yellowfin 3 skipjack. Steady action all day. We even had some whales swing by and say hello.

The Tribute checekd in with us today with 88 fat Yellowfin Tuna and 54 Skipjack for their angler’s today. Most of the fish came during a wide open bite first thing in the morning.

 Well, we just finished up our last day of our last trip of 2014.  We fished the coast for yellowtail and junk this morning.  And remember by junk I mean the small good eaters.  It was a successful morning.  The sun wasn't even up yet and we were getting yellows and others.  It was good fishing.  The grade was small, 10-12 pounders but we didn't have more then 8 yellowtail on board prior to today so we were tagging them.  For a little while anyways.  We let everyone get a few along with there junk before looking for something else.  We made a few drifts after that for another couple handfulls of yellows and some whitefish and stuff and then it was mid morning and we had to call it and head for home.  So that's what we're doing now.

 Another successfully trip I'd call it.  We had some action the first couple days fishing, then we got to see the 2-300 pounders boiling around(unfortunately none would bite but they were there), and then we had some great action on wahoo and tuna, and then we finished her off up above getting action on the yellers.  We'll be unloading at 6:30 tomorrow morning, and like I said, we'll be tied up for a while.  So it's that time.

 It's time to write this.  I write this at the end of every season.  I should just copy and paste it every year because it's the same, as it should be.  I'd just like to thank everyone who fished with us this year and in previous years on behalf of myself, the crew, and all the way to Tommy and Susan from the bottom of our hearts.  You're what keep us going year after year.  You're the reason we can take care of ourselves and our families.  You're why we can enjoy life off of the boat and on the boat.  You make our world go round.  THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good evening. We spent our morning getting the Supreme and her passengers out of the weather for a bit, attempting to locate some coastal species for a morning while we gave the offshore scene a rest. We didn't quite connect like we were hoping but we did manage to catch a few yellowtail for our efforts, so all was not for lost. We made the decision to get back offshore and see what was going on and what was going on was scattered jig strikes on yellowfin tuna with some bait stops to go along with it. There is still some good hits to be had out here on both bluefin and yellowfin but we just didn't locate the right batch of fish. For tomorrow, we'll be fishing a little bit closer to home as we'll give it a try for a few hours and then have to book it for home. Wish us luck and sorry for the short report, the weather traveling up isn't the best conditions for typing but it's still okay to traveling. It could be a lot worse but we don't want that. POLARIS SUPREME TRIP REPORT 09-12-2020 We departed today on Bill Stephens annual 8 day charter. We got a nice early start with some OK looking bait. after seeing the great trip Alec had with the Simpatico charter we will be heading south for the trip. Weather rolling down is great. We departed today on Don Fischbeck's annual 5-day charter, but without our charter head Don! Don we will miss you at the rail but we will bring some fish home for you. Don't be working too hard! Today the reports off shore are slow but there is some action at a few of the islands. So we loaded up with some good looking bait and are hoping for a possitive change for the albacore. Pedro is in the galley getting ready for dinner tonight which is going to be grilled tenderloin of beef with a red wine sauce. So we will update again tomorrow. Thanks for checking in. Tommy and crew
