Polaris Supreme Trip Report 07-19-2016 Okay we departed last night on Paul Hess's annual five day trip. We got another great group of folks and a nice load of bait to take down to the tuna and yellowtail grounds. The two pictures at the scale are of Jack and Kenny with their jackpot bluefin tuna one weighed about 124 and the other weighed about 120. We are looking offshore today and at this moment striking out. We have not put a fish on board. Have only found two scraggly kelp's and no schools of tuna. Weather is good and our expectations are high. Hopefully our evening report is a little bit more exciting than this one. The first picture that we put up today is a color water temperature chart of the area around Guadalupe Island. We would love to make a nice catch on the yellowtail in the next couple of days and be able to go scout out some new country for yellowfin tuna! It's a little hard to go out searching that far offshore though without something on board. Wish us luck! The Polaris supreme crew

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 06-28-2016 A beautiful Tuesday we are having! Four yellowtail average per passenger and great weather. We are busy and that's all we have time for tonight Brendan just landed a 30 plus Yellow and its 9:00. Sea Ya Tomorrow. Polaris Supreme Crew!

Nice bluefin making for a great starter and finisher for our 6 day trips. Next one leaves August 23rd!

I have three more fishing opportunities on the Apollo. Berkley will sponsoring three overnight Channel Island trips. These will be sea bass and rock fish type adventures. There will be give aways and raffles on board compliments of Berkley and Pure Fishing. Everyone will receive goodies for fishing. We didn't have to go too far to get some good action on the albacore. Everyone hooked and landed some. Weather is good. We will head into blue fin territory tomorrow. Thanks for checking in.

Yesterday we went out with 21 anglers. Final fish count for the day was. 2 lingcod 9 sheephead 67 red rockcod 132 miscellaneous rockfish. We fished deep water in the morning and shallow water in the afternoon. We are scheduled to fish everyday. Make those reservations and come join us.

Hello Everyone, We had a nice start to our Pat Shima 5 day. A exciting evening shooter on these 15-20 lb yellowfin. They seem to bite very softly. We made some adjustments and will be ready for tomorrow. Will report again in the morning, Team Supreme
