Polaris Supreme Trip Report 09-18-2016 Good evening everyone and thanks for checking in. Today was another gorgeous travel day into the lower latitudes. The weather just just about picture perfect all day long. As normal on these longer trips, Mike prepares a little bit of a later breakfast and shortly after the crew puts on our detailed fishing tackle seminar. There is a lot to go over to get the guys tuned up on the wide variety for fishing we might encounter. Being that there's so many different things we might see, we can't leave any stone unturned, especially for the guys that either haven't been on the Supreme or just haven't been on a longer trip at all. It's very important we have everyone dialed in and on the same page. The rest of the day was rather casual, a lot of rigging, crimping leaders, setting up jigs and just making sure all of the gear is fine tuned,. Once we got everyone tuned up the afternoon closed out with movies, naps reading books and just enjoying a nice ride down. Tomorrow we'll start off with some offshore style fishing and continue to make our plan for the rest of the trip. Polaris Supreme Report 07-22-2016 Happy Friday everyone! We elected to stay the night at the same place as yesterday, in hopes of another action packed day of yellowtail fishing . We got the anchor down and started fishing around 5:30, to stage ourselves for the morning hit. As the misty morning came upon us we began to hook some nice yellowtail. We were finally starting to hit our stride when the fish quit biting. As the sky cleared it seemed as the yellows did too. We tried several spots that amounted to a slow pick throughout the day. Unfortunately we finished off the day without the wall to wall action yellowtail hit we were hoping for. However we still scratched up some quality fish. We feel very fortunate to have had such a great day of fishing yesterday. After fishing hard into the early afternoon we finally set a course for Point Loma to and wrap up this great 5 day trip. We have smooth sailing for the ride up and are looking at 7:00 am at the dock. We currently have a four day online departing August 2nd that still has a couple openings. Hey everyone, Today was our fourth and final full day of fishing down south. We started off the morning looking for wahoo. It did not take long before we found a nest of hungry 'hoos. We made a few passes over them and picked off a handful each time. We even had a few marlin mixed in with the wahoo that put on quite a show. By the late morning the wahoo bite slowed down and we began to look around for other signs of life. It did not take long before we found a large school of yellowfin and they stayed with us until the sun went down, with 2-5 fish hanging the whole time they kept us plenty busy all afternoon. With sore arms and smiles on everyone's faces we sat down for dinner and enjoyed a delicious plate of fresh fish, thanks to the charter master who generously donated one of his fish. With a couple hours of fishing time left for the trip we are going to spend it looking for yellowtail as we begin to make our way north back to San Diego. Until next time, Team Supreme

We woke up to jock strap and sun visor weather this morning. Did some rigging and had roast beef in a portabella mushroom sauce for lunch. We had good success acquiring yellowtail and tuna for hors d'oeuvres and proceeded to eat them in the form of sushi and sashimi. Dinner is coming up in a few minutes, halibut in a lemon butter caper sauce. We are going to consolidate our sardines and swing by the bait grounds to pick up a tank of greenies. We will see you tomorrow on the tuna grounds.

Sien On and his charter group got a quick shot in the bottom of the ninth. They landed 31 yellowfin 8 yellowtail 2 bonito. A small hook and 20lb fluorocarbon got most of the bites.

We have a one day trip, fishing next Sunday, Aug 5, that has a few openings. This is mostly a kids/beginners group, ideal for experienced anglers to bring their children or kids on a boat in a friendly and limited load environment. However, all anglers are welcome. 18 passengers, $250 per person plus food, tips, permit.
