Hi again anglers. We have another trip with (1) spot available. This is a one day trip departing friday night the 15th. fishing Saturday the 16th. Cost is 200.00. Please call John if interested. (714) 863-8275. In addition, we have another trip with openings. This trip is a two day leaving Thurs the 5th, fishing Fri and Sat July 6th and 7th. Only 20 passengers. Polaris Supreme Report 07-25-2016 Hey everyone, Another beautiful day out here on the offshore waters of northern Baja. Today we searched for kelp patties, breeezers, and bird schools. We did very well finding kelp, however it just doesn't seem that the large volume of fish has moved in on them yet. Hopefully soon! Later in the afternoon we found a nice temp break that lead some exotic Dorado and Yellowtail, even a Sea Turtle popped got in on the action. The yellows were large and healthy, and the Dorado were a welcome sight and hopefully a good precursor to the warm water fish months ahead. Tomorrow we will be fishing for big yellowtail and maybe a seabass or two Wish us luck! Team Supreme

We departed today with Chaparro's annual lite load charter. This is his 10th year! A fun group as always and the guys are anxious to get their lines wet. We got a nice load of bait and headed out west looking for albacore and yellowfin with only a few landed.

There were plenty of seiners. Our weather continues to be good. As we dine on steak and lobster we are looking forward to tomorrow to do some kelping. Our web master who handles all our updates will be out fishing himself for the next few days, so there won't be any reports posted until Thursday. Give Susan a call if you have any questions.  It was a slow day out here today for us.  It was a slow day for many.  But of course it depends on who you talk to, some might say it was a great day.  It all depended on which school you found.  Just like it's been, most schools don't produce, but the few lucky ones do.  We didn't find the lucky one.  Our best school was for 20.  But no matter who you ask, it was a slow afternoon today. After lunch, we didn't find a school till after 6:00.  We're due.

 The weather today was awesome.  Again.  We're going to drift out here tonight and try it again tomorrow.  I thought about doing something different, like hunting bluefin, but it hasn't been very good and our plan B., that being San Clemente island is closed tomorrow darnit.  Plus these yellowfin we're catching are just too beautiful.  Such a nice grade.

 One more day.  We're due.  It won't take much more to get 200 of these things for the trip.  200 of these things would be nice.

Monday, May 7th, 2012

Hi folks. Short day for Drew, Tommie, Mark, Jamie and myself as all we did today was drill zinc plates and tarp off the boat to prepare for the painters to spray the strontium on the bare aluminum today and the primer tomorrow. The vinyl lettering was applied to both sides of the bow and the stern today. From the looks of it, we've gone back to the old school font and color ...scheme. Instead of the lighter blue and orange which has been on the boat for the past six or seven years, the Supreme has gone back to a "royal blue" which looks moe like navy blue and orange. Things are starting to shape up and with the bait tank, bus stop and inside bulwarks hopefully being completed this week, we're looking forward to the end of our stay here in National City sometime next week.

Anyhow, short day for us today, an off day for us tomorrow for painting, and we'll be back at it on Wednesday for, you guessed it: more sanding. Take care and hopefully, everybody's Monday is treating you all kindly.
