Polaris Supreme Trip Update 09-12-2019 Fun morning fishing for yellowtail today everybody got to pull on a couple and it was nice quality. Again our weather is beautiful and everybody had a great day. Were off traveling up the line for home the rest of the day and probably going to make a shortstop tomorrow for a little fun table fare! Add a little color to our fish. The Polaris supreme crew!

JJ is running 1.5 day trips to Punta Collonett. Last trip they scored limits of big Reds and a ton of big Lings. Call Fisherman's Landing now at (619) 221-8500 to get in on the action. Tell them SFR sent you.

Where'd they go?? We got a few wahoo today, but nothing like yesterday. Our day consisted of scratching away at yellowfin, yellowtail, pargo, dorado, and wahoo on some different spots. Don't get me wrong. It was not a bad day fishing, just not like yesterday. Our weather is still good. Actually it's too hot, the water is 83 degrees. Not bad for the fish, but warm for us. Tomorrow we will be off shore kelping for wahoo, dorado and tuna until it's time to head home and wind up this fantastic trip. It's going to be a great fall season. Thanks for checking in. Fishing today was absolutely fantastic. The morning started out slow. We were scratching on the anchor. We thought we were in for another slow day. But we made a move to a new area and had some phenomenal fishing on some nice grade yellowtail. Beautiful average of about 22 lbs or so. We were fishing with a porpoise school and sharks.

Lots of surface iron. Lots of action. Weather is good. Nice and sunny in the afternoon. Tomorrow we'll be be looking for some cow yellowtail.

Good morning Everyone, Our annual Heil charter has come, the longest running charter on Polaris Supreme. We are very happy top welcome aboard this group of anglers. Ron Heil has been keeping his father's charter going for years with a good core group of anglers. We are exited to have these guys aboard as well as some new faces. Spirits are high, and we're all very hopeful for the next 5 days. Team Supreme

We arrived on scene here around noon time and immediately got to work. Lots of bi catch around but some great size Yellowfin mixed in. We also were able to catch some nice grouper, and one very large one. The big ones are biting this year! Will report again tomorrow, Team Supreme

We finished off our trip at the lupe and it was poor. No sign of big fish only small fish. Good weather on our way home. We'll be dock side for a few days and departing on Wednesday for 10 days.

Hi friends. Our week consisted of us mainly preparing for the final major painting projects to be completed. We completed the necessary steps for the bait tank and bus stop to receive a new paint job. Tomorrow, Jamie and myself will be down at the boat to scuff up the first coat of gloss, wipe down, and hang out as the painters finish up the final coat. We'll have Sunday off and then on Monday, it'll be time to hustle up and get the boat back in the water. A few other chores on the list before we say farewell to Knight & Carver Yacht Center include sanding the rails to be refinished at another time, put the liferafts back on the boat, install all the new zincs and pray the we're back in the water Tuesday or Wednesday. Drew, Tommie, Mark, Jamie and myself are really looking forward to getting the boat back in the water and once back at the docks, our dirtiest chores are pretty much over and all the remains are little "knick knack" cosmetic things, putting the new freezer box on the upper deck, painting the deck, refinishing the rails and a few mechanical repairs. We're starting to see light at the end of the tunnel and it's a beautiful sight.

In other news, Jed went under the knife on Thursday to have his tendon repaired in his thumb and all went well and from what he said, it will be six to eight weeks of recovery time followed by some physical therapy. Jed's doing just fine and here's to a speedy recovery to have him back on the boat sometime in August.

With that, our weekend is looking good for some relaxation, Clippers/Lakers game sevens, Kings/Coyotes hockey and the Gator By the Bay festival at Spanish Landing in San Diego Bay. We hope you all enjoy your weekend as well. Take care everyone!
