christmas island Fishing Report 2025

We started in the rain, loading passengers and loading bait. Now we're full steam rolling down in nice weather. There is reports of bad weather down below but we're traveling the correct direction for it not to effect us. We hope this trip is in perfect time with the perfect weather. We'll most likely start the trip off with an afternoon of yellowtail fishing before we decide on where we're going from there.

Captain Mike Pritchard called in this evening to update everyone on today's trip at Punta Colonett.

We had limits of Lingcod and limits of Rockfish (mostly reds).

We are no kicking back watching the NFL playoffs. That's right! The Tribute has DirecTV on the boat.

And everyone is getting ready for our tri-tip dinner.

Just got a call from the boat. They have 23 yellowtail on the boat so far.

Capt Mike Pritchard from the Tribute called in a very enjoyable fishing report, we ended with 99 Yellowfin Tuna, 9 Dorado and about 40 Skipjack Tuna. We got on a kelp late and had to leave them biting, the weather was has been great and looks like it will that way for the rest og the week. We do have some spots on upcoming trips, our Wednesday trip is a go for sure and we have some room on most other dates. Hello everyone, Today was spent traveling up. A great ride to end a great trip filled with a variety of fish. We would like to thank Billy Stephens for putting together such a great charter! Wow! What a great 8 day trip we just had here on the Polaris Supreme! It was great finally getting to fish that southern zone of Alijos Rocks and The Ridge! Over 200 great quality wahoo, red hot Yellowfin Tuna fishing, and awesome night time Yellowtail fishing. The action was nonstop! We cannot wait to get back down there! We currently have a 10 day coming up with some spots available. Be sure to lock in your chance at some great fall wahoo, tuna, yellowtail, and maybe even a day of cow tuna fishing!
